My life isnât a sob story.
Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, I believe everything thatâs happened to me has also happened FOR me.
Even the absolute s**t.
When I write posts like this, I have tears in my eyes, not because I feel sorry for myself, but because Iâm so fu***ng proud of the woman Iâve become.
The scared little girl who felt completely alone is now a brave woman who refuses to give up on herself.
I still have self-doubt.
I still criticise myself.
Things still affect me.
I donât know if anyone with a past like mine ever becomes 100% healed.
But healing isnât about never being impacted again.
Itâs about knowing how to look after yourself when you are.
Iâm grateful for who I am, where Iâve been and every woman Iâm now able to help because of it.
If youâre struggling, I hope I remind you that you are powerful too.
And if you need a coach who genuinely gets it and will help you become the woman you know youâre capable of beingâŚ
Maybe Iâm your girl â¤ď¸

Evidence that you can FEEL and look incredible in your 50s đŤśđť
I think more women need to know this â¤ď¸
Jennie already looked amazing. Iâm sure youâll agree.
Sheâs retired, a mum of three and travels regularly. From the outside, she has the seemingly âperfectâ life.
But she still struggled with her confidence.
She wasnât unhappy with her body or ungrateful for her life. She simply wanted to feel stronger, more toned and more confident and start showing up for herself now her children were older.
What weâve done together isnât a diet.
Weâve made small, gradual changes to her food and training. She lifts more and eats better, yes, but tbh the biggest transformation has been mental.
Jennie no longer drinks because sheâs realised she doesnât need the false confidence , or the migraines that came with it.
She prioritises strength training and walking because of how they make her feel, not just how they make her look.
Sheâs set boundaries that have improved her relationships.
Sheâs learning more about who she is, what she needs and what she wants from this stage of her life.
And sheâs becoming an even stronger, happier and more confident version of herself.
I realise that sounds cheesy AF but itâs true.
Women in their 40âs and 50âs often come to me and say âmaybe this is how I should feel now Iâm olderâ
Iâm here to say nope. F**k that đ¤Ł
Hereâs an inspiring example of what can be done with work, consistency and support.
Jennie hasnât transformed overnight. Sheâs kept pushing herself week in week out with small change and goals.
And honestly that is how to get real results that last.

You donât need more discipline.
You need to stop tolerating the things that are making you miserable.
Being exhausted all the time.
Saying yes when you want to say no.
Doing everything for everybody else, then eating at night because itâs the only comfort or reward youâve had all day.
Skipping meals because youâre âtoo busyâ, then blaming yourself when you canât stop eating later.
Speaking to yourself like s**t and expecting that to somehow motivate you.
Food often isnât the REAL problem.
Itâs the stress.
The resentment.
The lack of boundaries.
The pressure youâre putting on yourself.
The fact that your needs always come last.
(Btw do you even know what your needs are) đđĽ´
So ask yourself:
What am I tolerating?
How is it making me feel?
And what do I actually need to change?
Because the thing keeping you stuck isnât what youâre eatingâŚ
Itâs whatâs eating away at you (like what I did there) đ
This is exactly what weâre working on inside tonightâs Mindset Method coaching call â¤ď¸
I have one space left to join in August.

Iâm training for a 70.3 at the moment.
If you donât know what that is, itâs a Half Ironman:
đđźââď¸ 1.9km swim
đ´đźââď¸ 90km bike
đđźââď¸ Half marathon
And Iâve been beating myself up a little because Iâm still pretty (very đ) s**te at swimming.
For context I only started riding last June and swimming maybe in January.
A few people recently have said to me:
âJust go and swim every morning from 6â8am. Youâll get better with timeâ
Yeah. I cannot do that đ¤Ł
Not because Iâm lazy.
Not because I donât want it enough.
Because I have two young children, no childcare and a business to run.
And I cannot choose to prioritise 3+ hours of my day, once you include travelling, changing and all the general FAFFING, to swimming.
And I think this is something we donât talk about enough when it comes to women and exercise.
Only around 1 in 4 participants in a 70.3 are women.
A full Ironman is only 18 per cent female.
Iâd LOVE to know how many of those women are also business owners with primary-school-aged children starting from the bottom in their 40âs đ¤Ł
Because the reality is, for a lot of women, finding time for ourselves IS harder.
That doesnât mean we make excuses.
It means our version of commitment might look different.
I might not be able to train like somebody who can swim for two hours every morning.
But I can find my way.
I havenât watched TV for almost 9 months.
I combine training with seeing friends so Iâm getting social time AND training time.
I fit sessions around my children and my business.
Sometimes I train at ridiculous times. 5am, 9pm.
Sometimes I have to accept that what I can do is good enough.
So if youâre a woman who constantly feels like you âshould be doing moreâ, two things:
1. It genuinely IS hard to make time for yourself. I get it.
Youâre not imagining the demands on your time.
2. You still get to decide that you matter.
Maybe you donât have two hours.
Maybe you have 20 minutes.
Maybe you canât do the âoptimalâ plan.
Do the plan that actually fits your life.
Because Iâm starting to realise that completing this 70.3 isnât going to be impressive because I trained perfectly.
Itâll be impressive because I found a way to train imperfectly, in the middle of an already very full life. And if Iâm not as âgoodâ as someone else, I still know I gave it all that I had within my ability.
And I think thereâs something pretty fu***ng powerful about that â¤ď¸

Stop trying to lose weight.
Hear me out though đŤśđť
If youâve tried (and failed) to achieve your weight loss goals over and over againâŚ
Maybe the problem isnât that you need another diet.
Maybe you need to understand why you keep needing food in the first place.
Because when the food noise kicks in at 8pmâŚ
When youâve had a s**t dayâŚ
When youâre stressed, overwhelmed, lonely, bored or completely exhaustedâŚ
Your meal plan isnât the problem.
And willpower isnât the solution.
Instead, ask yourself:
What feeling is eating allowing me to escape from right now?
Not what are you eating.
Not how many calories are in it.
What happened right before you wanted it?
Because THAT is where the work starts.
You need to learn your specific triggers.
The situations.
The thoughts.
The emotions.
The moments when your food noise gets REALLY loud.
Then, instead of immediately reacting to the urge, you learn how to sit with it.
Not make it disappear.
Not battle with yourself.
Not tell yourself youâre ânot allowedâ to eat.
Just notice it and give yourself enough space to choose what happens next.
That is a skill.
And like any skill, it gets easier the more you practise it.
So before you decide that youâve âfailedâ again and start looking for the next dietâŚ
Stop.
Your problem might not be that you donât know what to eat.
You might need to understand what keeps making you want to eat when youâre not actually hungry.
Thatâs a very different problem to solve.
And no 1,200-calorie meal plan is going to teach you that.
