MARTIN LOVEGROVE

The Tigers are devastated to learn of the sudden passing of Martin Lovegrove, a key figure within the Bristol All Golds club and the rugby league community as a whole.

Martin has been a servant of his club and our sport for years and has been a key force in driving rugby league in the Bristol and Gloucestershire area for well over a decade and a keen advocate for both the men’s and women’s game.

He was also just a genuinely pleasant person to see on away games or to welcome to Bedford.

He will be sorely missed.

We pass out thoughts to his friends and family and everyone at All Golds Rugby League

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Last night the club celebrated a successful 2026 season with both our Men’s and Women’s sections coming together at Brewpoint for a our annual end of season awards evening.

The first award of the night goes to Monty Lee picked up Rookie of the Year.

Following time at Northampton Saints Academy, Monty came to Tigers having never played rugby league before and impressed enough to make his first-team National Conference South debut at just 18 years-old.

Monty will now go to Bath University in the of season but we look forward to seeing him return in 2027.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Our final man of the match for the 2026 season goes to Kayne Chan!

His injection of pace and flair around the ruck area helped to kick the Tigers attack on while his efforts in defence made a huge difference to absorbing the Wests Warriors attack

Congratulations Kayne! Not a bad way to sign off!

PLAYOFF HEARTBREAK

The Tigers fall short in the finals by the narrowest of margins.

Despite a valiant effort in an incredibly tight game, a late surge wasn’t enough to overturn a lead that the Warriors held all game.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to support us today, everyone who has been to a game this year and everyone who has followed and supported from afar.

Congratulations to Wests Warriors and all of their supporters. Good luck and enjoy Grand Final week.

And we’re proud of the effort of everyone at the club this season.

Until next year

IT’S PLAYOFF WEEK!

With the regular season wrapped up and a season long performance that topped our 2025 campaign, it came down to the wire last week away at Wests Warriors.

The Warriors pipped the Tigers to 2nd place in the comp on points difference, highlighting how tight the 2026 season has been!

We travel to Acton this Saturday to face the Warriors again. For the winner it’s a spot in the Southern Conference Grand Final… for the loser it’s season done!
