Keeping this contract with The Belfast Trojans is a key move for the future of this club, in a constant expansive presence of the Belfast Harlequins Club to a wider spectrum of the population and the growth of the family that makes Belfast Harlequins the organization that is today!
The Belfast Trojans are delighted to officially announce a five year extension with Belfast Harlequins RFC
The new agreement secures our future and home ground with the top-class facilities at Deramore Park for the 2022 - 2026 seasons.
We have enjoyed many successful seasons since moving to Deramore Park in 2014 including winning three Shamrock Bowls, an Atlantic Cup, and also hosting three american college teams over the past 7 years.
As the Trojans look to the future, we are excited to build on our past successes. With the expansion to a Youth Team in 2021, a rejuvenated Flag Football Program, and a big class of rookies in our Senior team, we believe we can lay a solid foundation this year and push on in 2022 to do what the Trojans do best - fight for championships!

I am sure most members will now have received an email from Peter with regards volunteering to help pharmacies under the current pressure. For those that haven't or others that wish to help, please see below:
Ulster Rugby has been contacted by the Community Development and Health Network with a specific request around supporting community pharmacies.
This might entail, for example, helping with deliveries or assisting Pharmacies manage their queues.
If you are keen to volunteer we need to know as soon as possible so that we can inform Ulster Rugby that our Club has volunteers ready to help.
In the first instance, please respond to [email protected] with your name and contact details.
Thank you and stay safe.

Harlequins Members and Supporters
In view of the current Covid-19 situation, the General Committee took the difficult decision on 19th March that our Club should close until future notice.
We had hoped that some areas might be able to remain open, such as the gym, but following the announcement from the Government on Friday 20th March that pubs, restaurants, cafes, clubs and gyms are required to close, we no longer believe this to be possible.
As you will undoubtedly be aware, all sport across our Club and the country has ceased, including training sessions, as people are required to practice social distancing in an effort to slow down the spread of the virus.
At Belfast Harlequins, we like to consider ourselves as a Club which is rooted in the local community. I have had many members approach me to suggest that we offer to assist where we can with the more vulnerable people around us, whether they be Club members or not.
Please take time to consider those around you. Check in on your neighbours, from a safe distance, and see if they need assistance with shopping, taking out the bins or just a chat during what for some may be a very lonely time.
Your Club will survive this difficult period but your General Committee, all of whom are volunteers and give freely their time and effort, would very much appreciate any advice, guidance or assistance our members are able to give. Please feel free to contribute simply by replying to this email.
Thank you and keep yourselves and your families safe.

Quins Family, Friends and Neighbours! Times are hard and with so much disruption to our sports, teams and club, its going to be a tough few weeks with the possibility or surpassing to months. With this in mind Mark has put together a menu for the month ahead to ensure there are healthy food options for those that may be isolated, struggling to get fresh stuff or just want some good food!
Please share this far and wide and with anyone you know local that might benefit!

We are a 5* kitchen, based within Belfast Harlequins Sports and Conference Centre at Deramore Park. Our meals are nutritionally balanced, good wholesome 5* food.

**Quins Family and Friends!**
We know things are starting to get serious out there, sports have been cancelled and training too π
We as a club know that some people will become very isolated even without symptoms and with everything starting to close up, we wanted to see if there would be interest for relaxed drinks, with the option of food on Friday after work??
Obviously anyone with symptoms should self isolate until they feel better!
Hands up for interest! ππΌ
Should regulations change within the week we will update every step of the way π€πΌ
