Trojans HC, Nick Fitzsimons said, “Following on from their international debuts at Euroflag 2025 in Paris last year, it’s been astonishing to watch the growth of Eimear, Ash & Amy into some of the best flag football players this country has to offer.  Even more impressive is the work they’ve put in since Euroflag as well as the sacrifices they’ve made to drive the growth of their own game, the competitive level at the club and the standard of play on the island as a whole.

As for Helen Smyth, what more can be said about Ireland’s captain?  Entering her 4th cycle of international competition in flag football, and despite a surge in competition for squad spots since Ireland’s international debut in 2023, her drive, resilience, courage and passion means she continues to set the athletic and competitive standard by which the sport is measured here.

There’s no doubt this group will do the country proud at this week’s event in Amsterdam.”

🚨 TROJAN NATION, we are launching ANOTHER flag camp, this time in DUBLIN! 🚨

This summer, the Belfast Trojans (in association with the Gridiron Academy) are bringing the energy of gameday to the next generation! 🏈

As well as our Flag Football Camp in Belfast, we are hosting a flag football camp in Dublin designed for girls aged 10-16 to learn the fundamentals of Flag Football in a fun, safe and high-energy environment.

Flag Football is the non-contact, fast paced version of American Football and will feature in LA28 as an Olympic sport for the first time!

Whether it’s their first time picking up a ball or they’re already hooked, this is the perfect introduction to the sport 🙌

Across five action-packed days, players will develop key skills including passing, catching, movement and teamwork, all led by experienced Trojans and Irish Wolfhounds coaches and players.

More importantly, they’ll build confidence, make new friends and experience what it means to be part of a team.

Dublin Camp
