Cathal Brugha The Cathal Brugha Club has been in existence since 1932.

We believe that we have developed over the years into a very successful and progressive Irish Swimming & Water Polo Club, always looking for new challenges and welcoming new members. The Cathal Brugha Club has been in existence since 1932 and initially, the aim of the club was to provide a swimming teaching facility for young people. However it soon developed into a competitive outfit in both swimming and water polo and Jim Gilmore became the club's first Irish swimming champion when he won the 880 yards freestyle title in 1943. Competitive swimming and water polo complemented each other until the early 1970s when the club began almost exclusively to concentrate on water polo. The club has over the years won every title in Irish water polo and our men's team are the current back-to-back Irish Senior Cup Champions and holders of the National Division 1 league title.

๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ 2009 BOYS TRAINING CAMP ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ

Earlier this month, our 2009 Boys team travelled to Hungary for a training camp followed by some very competitive games against teams from Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.

This was a great opportunity for the team to train together directly ahead of competition and experience some new opponents. Well done to all involved ๐Ÿ‘
