2012s SBYL Fixture:
Bangor YM v Ridgeway
Having defeated Ards FC in their first match, BYM were hoping to make it two from two against the talented Ridgeway Rovers.
The match wasn’t going to plan, as Ridgeway took an early lead and held on to their one-goal advantage until half-time.

The half-time Haribos seemed to do the trick, as BYM looked like a different side in the second half. Within 10 minutes, they were back in the game. The equaliser came from new striker Callum, who helped himself to his second goal in as many games, cutting in from the right and driving a hard, low shot past the stranded keeper.
Reece put BYM 2–1 up shortly after. Reece has had to wait a long time for his first BYM goal, but a perfectly timed outside of the foot volley was certainly worth the wait.
With BYM dominating the game and looking to extend their lead, a mix-up at the back gave Ridgeway an unlikely equaliser.
For the last 15 minutes, the game was very close and looked to be heading for a draw.
POTM Jace had other ideas. With just two minutes remaining, he unleashed an unstoppable 30 yard free kick into the roof of the net, leaving the keeper with no chance and securing all three points for Bangor YM.
