Today was the Regional Challenge Cup 3 Event where we took a team of 11 today. First up this morning we had Alanna and Olivia who were both trying harder routines in a massive group of over 30, they placed 16th and 19th respectively, with both managing to get through all 20 skills!

Then we had Nancy, Robyn and Emily, with the latter two competing for the first time ever. They all managed to get through both routines with Robyn and Emily both bringing home gold medals πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡, Nancy finished in 4th, despite slipping over at the end of her routine, narrowly missing out on a medal, brilliant efforts from all three.

In the afternoon we had 6 competitors all on at the same time...I feel I performed some excellent sprinting skills 🀣

Charlie and Elodie were competing for the first time ever and brought home a silver πŸ₯ˆ and bronze πŸ₯‰ medal respectively, Charlotte also placed 2nd taking home a silver medal πŸ₯ˆ

Zack tested out a new routine with his freshly learnt tuck back to seat and managed to place 2nd πŸ₯ˆ and lastly we had Sam and MΓ©lina who gave synchro a go, with them only learning and practicing routines from Friday evening, they placed 4th, just 0.17 behind the pair in 3rd, which is a fantastic achievement on such little practice!

All in all another very successful competition, a big thank you to our lovely Nina for judging for us today, and to everyone who helped out, especially during the mad rush in the afternoon. A shout out to Danika again for being a fab little helper, especially with her support for the ones who had never completed before, I think it really made a difference having someone by their side 😊

Just a reminder that due to the Bank Holiday, the Sports Centre is closed, so there are no sessions on Good Friday (3rd April) or Saturday 4th April 2026. This is a planned closure that has been accounted for within your monthly fees. We hope you all enjoy the Easter weekend and that the Easter bunny is kind to you all! πŸ°πŸ£πŸ‡πŸ₯

Well done to the Team who completed at the English Championship Q1 day 2 today, really proud of everyone for getting through their routines and DMT passes.

First up was MΓ©lina, she absolutely smashed both of her routines and placed 2nd, earning herself a silver medal! πŸ₯ˆ Then we had Danika on DMT with clean landings on all her passes (despite us having to make a last minute change because I made an error in tariffing - sorry Danika!) she placed 3rd taking home the bronze medal! πŸ₯‰ Next up was Ellie, she managed to get through both of her routines (despite only managing to do them this week!) and placed 22nd out of a massive group of 30! Trinytee was up next, she got through both routines and despite touching the mat on her out bounce, still managed to place 13th! Lastly we had Sam who was having a little wobble of confidence, but he also managed to get through both routines and placed 10th!

Well done to everyone, English is a much bigger and scarier competition as it is National Level, but they all did Big Sam and I proud! Again a big thank you to everyone who came to help out and support the team (and coaches) today 😊

What a fabulous first day at the English Championship Q1 today, we had Danika and Kaiden both taking part in the DIS Gold level (highest level), they both performed their two routines with Danika finishing in 7th place and Kaiden in joint 5th! Then we had Trinytee and Danika in the DIS Silver Synchro, they performed two wonderful routines with a sync of 18.14 in their first routine which is amazing! Both girls brought home a Gold medal each, special shout-out to both Kaiden and Trinytee for making their English Championship debut! Back for day 2 tomorrow where we have more debut's with MΓ©lina, Ellie, Trinytee and Sam all taking part in Silver individual and Danika competing DMT. A massive thank you to everyone who helped out at club this morning and those who came to help at the competition this afternoon, it was greatly appreciated!

If you normally attend the 2pm or 2:45pm classes on a Saturday afternoon and haven't told us that you plan to be away, then please check your emails as an important update was sent out a couple of days ago about tomorrow sessions.

First ever attempts at some new links and routines today, always hard trying something new, but to get it first time is a fabulous feeling, well done Kaiden, Jess and Sam!
