ONE DOOR OPENED. NOW WE’RE WATCHING CHEERLEADING WALK THROUGH IT 🌎
In 2025, Pom Doubles had the incredible honour of becoming the first form of cheerleading to compete at The World Games.
To be given the opportunity to take Pom, and cheerleading, onto a stage like that was something we will always be incredibly grateful for.
More than anything, we hoped that moment would help create opportunities for more of our sport to be seen, celebrated and represented on the world stage. And now, we get to see another incredible step forward.
Premier Cheer is officially a category at The World Games 2029🌎
Seeing another discipline of cheerleading recognised and given a place on this stage is something we are so excited about.
Because this is bigger than Pom Doubles.
It’s bigger than Premier Cheer.
It’s about cheerleading as a whole and creating more opportunities for athletes, teams and disciplines to represent their countries at one of the biggest sporting events in the world.
We feel incredibly lucky that Pom Doubles had the opportunity to be the first, and so proud to see that opportunity growing into something bigger for our sport.
Here’s to the next chapter of cheerleading on the world stage and we cannot wait to see what 2029 brings. ❤️🌎✨
