A very emotional send off for Chris Booker today . Tragically taken way too early . A huge loss to his wonderful family and friends . Much loved by everyone close to him and universally liked by everyone that met him . He must be very proud looking down at the impact he made on so many . Rachel , Liam , Kiara and the family showed amazing strength and dignity at this heart breaking time . We lost a great man and we'll never forget him

RIP Jay Thorne who raced RC Bangers back in the good ol' days . He used to travel huge distances to race at Basildon on a Saturday night probably getting home at 5 am Sunday like most of us . He was a great guy and loads of fun . Apparently was thinking about a comeback . Shame we never got osee his return

To Celebrate Chris Bookers life, Rachel Booker , Liam,Keira and Chris's family would like to invite you all to his funeral service being held on the 2nd October 2026 at 16:30, at Arun crematorium, off of Gravatts Lane,Yapton, BN18 0LW.
Chris's favourite colour was Red so it would be lovely if you could wear at least one red item of clothing or accessory on the day.
We would also ask that instead of sending flowers you donate to St Wilfrids hospice, as they went above and beyond in chris's time of need and looked after his family and friends at this most difficult time.
Once the service has finished please join Rachel and Family at The Gordon Centre, Canada Grove, Bognor Regis PO21 1DW. Where family and friends can raise a toast (or a few) to Chris and share some stories and memories together.
Lets give this wonderful man the best send off we can.
