Looking back at this picture I never imagined that five years later we would be where we are today ✨

What started as one little class has grown into the most incredible community filled with dancing, confidence, friendships, magical memories, and so much love 💖

I’m so grateful for every family who has supported Itsy Bitsy Dance over the last five years — whether you came to one class or have been here since the beginning 🫶

It’s been a week since we moved out… and honestly, it still doesn’t feel real.

Walking past now and seeing it all boarded up is heartbreaking. So many memories all in one place — now just closed off.

Four thriving businesses — including a charity and a community-led space — all gone, making way for a big corporate supermarket. It’s hard not to feel sad about what’s been lost.

We may not have had the deepest pockets like a supermarket, but what we do have is something far more powerful — a community. And I couldn’t be prouder of ours 🤍

Sad sight… but what we built there can’t be boarded up — that all lives on

Thank you to everyone who has reached out — your messages, support and kindness have meant more than you know.

✨ A new chapter for us… ✨

When we signed our lease at Westover Retail Park, we always knew it would be a short-term home — we just hoped we might have a little longer there.

Many of you will have seen the Bournemouth Daily Echo articles over the last year about Lidl coming to the site. Understandably, this raised questions. While other businesses were mentioned, we were the only one not included, along with our community, which added to some more uncertainty for our community. As Lidl are our landlords, it’s been something we’ve had to navigate carefully — being open with you, while also maintaining a positive relationship behind the scenes.

Just before Christmas, we were given notice a little earlier than expected, which means our plans have moved forward sooner than planned. Moving 150 incredible dancers and our Itsy Bitsyccino families is no small task!

The good news? We’ve found a new space just a stone’s throw away from where we are now. It’s bigger, better, and full of exciting possibilities for our dance family ✨

We’ll be sad to say goodbye to Westover 💛 — but we’re so ready for this next chapter. We will have our last official day at Westover on the 27th March.

Priority booking is now live for our current dancers and will remain open until 22nd December.
After this date, places will be released to our waiting lists and then to the public.
