Women’s rugby is a fun and challenging way to stay fit, meet new friends and get involved in university life. We offer two training sessions a week that are either lead by our professional coach or one of the dedicated senior members of the team. Training and our regular matches do not only provide a good physical challenge for people of all abilities but usually involve loads of fun, laughter and

✨COLOURS 2021✨

After a difficult year navigating through the pandemic and trying to keep our club alive the Wolves exec team managed to claim 2 awards. We’re thankful for all our execs this year for their hard work, to all of our engaging members, our coach and to Bingley Bumblebees!!

✨Most Improved Club

This was the first objective we set as the new exec team, we’re so proud of ourselves for developing our club over the last year and for working hard to engage more members. Big thanks to all who came to training!!

✨Event of the year

We were awarded event of the year for our joint sessions with the Bingley Bumblebees, where we played mixed ability rugby. These sessions were very successful for both our club and those with the bumbles, we hope to train with you again soon!

A few weeks ago our members were given the opportunity to train with Keighley Cougars Ladies. 2 of our freshers, Taylor and Lil, went down and have been training since.

Unfortunately, Lil injured herself last Sunday at training and was unable to join Taylor and Cougar Ladies for their first game today against Stanningley.

Taylor however got to play her first game of league and first full game of rugby ever and we’re proud to says she did amazing!!

We’re super proud of our freshers for taking this opportunity and trying out a new code. We can’t wait to have more updates into Taylor and Lil’s league adventures🐺🏉

WOLVES AND BUMBLES SESSION

Thanks so much to everyone that attended our first session with the bumbles.

As the only female rugby team on campus we thought it would be great to partner up with the Bumbles mixed ability team as they look to start the first women’s mixed ability team in the country! There was a great turnout and there’s plans to make this happen again, so watch out for any announcements!

Massive thanks to the coaches and players at Bumbles for coming down and huge shout out to Mick Massey for the great photos!
