Our ladies reserves took a trip up to Stonehouse town to face a tough team. Expecting a very difficult contest and that was exactly how it went. Conceding 2 very quick goals. After that we settled into the game we dominated possession and managed to claw back into the game.
We grew into the game and started taking our chances when they came, goals from Sophia and Lauren helped turn the tie into our favour. With Holly making some great saves to keep us in the game! Finishing the game as 5-4 winners!👏👏

POTM I feel couldn’t be separated this week. With many candidates up for the prestigious award I’ve managed to narrow it down to two!
First POTM goes to Sophia. So calm on the ball. She really dictated the game and demand the ball, really made a difference going forward. Managing to get a hat trick of goals. Throughout the game she brought the energy that the game needed and had an all round solid performance👏🙌
Second POTM goes to Beth! First ever game of football but it looked like she had played for years. So calm under pressure. Really quick feet. Read the game very well. Coming up against a tricky winger all game and did not back down once. A spectator said to me that she told them she’s only ever done a cricket throw. So throw ins were a tricky point for her. But aced them all. Another all round great performance👏
We’re still learning and building but that results means we’re going in the right direction. Well done ladies
