Meet Claire 👋

Claire first joined BWPT through our 30 Day Kickstart after not exercising properly for a while.

She wanted to stay strong and healthy enough to keep up with life, help look after her granddaughter and keep going on adventures with Lee for as long as possible ❤️

After her first session she said something like…
“Well… let’s see how it goes, I know what I’m like and this isn’t the first thing I’ve tried - let’s see”….

You could tell she wanted it to work, but wasn’t quite sure if this time would be different.

Fast forward to now and she’s become one of the most loved people in the gym. Friendly, encouraging, chats to everyone and according to coach Chiv… “one of our best all-round lifters and easily one of the strongest.” 💪

Whilst away on holiday with her family, Claire’s daughters were surprised when she joined them in their arm wrestling competition …. They were even more surprised when she won it!

This week Claire officially joined our 300 Club 👏

300 sessions stronger.
300 times training with a coach and likeminded people
300 sessions healthier.
300 sessions investing in herself and her future.

Meet Andi 👋

Andi was already active when she found us. Busy life, always on the go — but not strong.

And eventually, her body let her know.

Sciatica crept in and became a real wake-up call. Being “fit” and being strong aren’t the same thing — and she’d been missing one of them.

She’d tried the big gyms before. Mirrors everywhere, full Lycra, that vibe where you’re never quite sure you belong. It just wasn’t her.

So she took a chance on something different.

From her very first sessions on the 30-Day Kickstart, things started to shift. Real coaching. Real structure. A space where she could just get on with it — surrounded by like minded people.

Now? Bending down, lifting heavy things, everyday life — it all just feels easier. Sciatica ? Hasn’t been a problem for a long time

Andi is stronger, she’s got more energy, and most importantly, it’s stuck.

Which — if you knew how many gyms haven’t stuck for people like Andi — says everything.

Oh, and outside of BWPT? Andi volunteers her time giving respite care to families with SEN children, giving parents a much-needed break.
She’s just one of those people.

We’re lucky to have her.

Her only regret?
“I wish I’d started sooner.”

Meet Sue 👋

Sue wanted to feel stronger, to stay active and enjoy her retirement.

She didn’t want a typical gym.
She didn’t want to be left guessing what to do or end up doing something she could easily do by herself.

Now she trains regularly, feels stronger, and enjoys her personal training sessions at BWPT “I wish I could come along more!”

Most of the people with us at BWPT hadn’t been to a gym in years (some had never been to a gym at all) they knew they needed to lift weights, they didn’t know where to start and they didn’t have much spare time 👇

Introducing our new coach, Tom 👋💪

We’re really excited to officially welcome Tom to the BWPT coaching team.

Tom brings a strong coaching background (over 10 years experience) a calm and reassuring presence on the gym floor, and a genuine passion for helping people feel more confident, capable, and strong — especially those who’ve never felt at home in a gym before.

His coaching style, attention to detail, and people-first approach fit perfectly with how we do things at BWPT:
