During his time with the Flyers, Dean has played a huge role in the development and growth of the club, coaching across both our youth and women’s sections, including more than eight years as First Team Head Coach.

His passion for the game, care for his players, and commitment to the club’s values have helped shape the identity and DNA of Downend Flyers both on and off the pitch. Dean’s influence has been felt by so many players, coaches and families over the years, and his contribution to the club will not be forgotten.

We thank Dean for everything he has given to Downend Flyers and wish him every success and happiness in the future.

Two final home games to bring the season to a close for the 1st and Reserves! ⚽️

The 1st team take on Bath City at Johnson Road, looking to finish the season on a high.

It will also be Coach Dean’s final game in charge of the 1st team, so come down and show your support for everything he’s done for the club. 👏

Meanwhile, the Reserves host Newent Town as they look to continue their winning streak and finish the season with another 3 points.

Downend Flyers Women are building for 2026/27 in the South West Regional Women’s Football League and looking for ambitious, committed players ready for competitive Tier 6 football and FA Cup action. With Reserves, Development, and a new U18s squad, there’s a pathway for every player. 💜
