siastic training; as a result, the club ranked third out of 31 Colleges in May Bumps 2014, with two crews (M1 and W2) winning blades. We continue to invest our time in the popular novice training programmes over the summer break (when the river is clear of undergraduates) as this gives our rowers a head start on developing a good technique before the college rowing year begins in October. We are a relaxed and friendly bunch of graduates and are always encouraging anyone who wishes to join DCBC to do so at whatever level. Putting rowing aside, we regularly get together as a club for Garden parties, BBQ's, Pub drinking sessions, fundraising events and generally 'boatie' fun laughter and banter to re-live the moments of success, bad-luck and amusing encounters.
