The starts in July and we need young volunteers to help out during the challenge at Clay Farm. This year's theme is "Read to the Beat" and aims to bring together the joy of music and reading.
Are you aged between 12-18? Do you like books and talking to children? Joining the Summer Reading Challenge Volunteering Programme can count towards your Duke of Edinburgh award! If you're interested in becoming a volunteer ask a member of staff for a volunteer pack which includes information on the role and the forms you, a teacher and a parent/guardian will need to complete.
Once the forms are completed, hand them back in at the Clay Farm reception and we'll be in touch after the application deadline to let you know if you've been successful.
