Tamara is back for another Saturday Special ✨

For yoga practitioners, this is a chance to experience mantra as sound, rhythm, focus and full body awareness.
Suitable for all levels (no dance or yoga experience neccesary), with clear guidance throughout.

Summer Flow with Jagoda 🌞
Join us for a steady, uplifting Saturday morning practice inspired by the openness, warmth and renewal of the summer season.
Jagoda will guide you through an energising and grounding Yoga Flow, linking breath with movement through standing sequences, balance, gentle stretches and mindful transitions. The practice is designed to help you build strength, mobility and focus, while creating a calm and spacious feeling in the body.
As the class unfolds, you’ll have space to reconnect with yourself, move with intention and enjoy a sense of lightness and ease. The practice will gradually soften into slower yin-inspired postures, finishing with a short sound healing session to help you fully unwind and reset.
This class is part of our Graduate Saturday Special Series, celebrating teachers who trained with Barefoot Body | Yoga | Somatics . These monthly classes are a lovely way to experience fresh teaching voices, support emerging teachers and explore practices shaped with creativity, curiosity and care.

A new Saturday Special for the height of summer ☀️
Join Pippa Moss for Roots & Sun, a 90 minute practice exploring how we can meet the bright, outward energy of summer through a feeling of steadiness in the body.
At this time of year, yang energy can feel uplifting, sociable, creative and full of movement. In practice, that energy can be a wonderful thing. It can help us feel more open, more willing, more playful, and more alive to the world around us. The key is finding the ground beneath it, so that expansion feels supported rather than scattered.
This class begins with rootedness, then moves into breath, mindful movement and a little stillness.
Expect a practice that helps you feel connected, spacious and more at ease in your body.
All levels are welcome.

A new chapter for our Sunday morning Jivamukti class 💛
From this Sunday (5th July), Jasmine will be taking over our 8-9.15am Jivamukti class.
Many of you will already know and love Jasmine from her Tuesday and Thursday evening classes, and we’re delighted that she’ll now be bringing her inspirational teaching to Sunday mornings too.
As we welcome Jasmine into this regular slot, we’re also saying a thank you to Ari. Ari has been a much-loved part of the Cambridge yoga community for many years, inspiring countless students both at CAMYOGA and beyond. We’ll miss her hugely and are so grateful for everything she’s brought to the community.
Wishing you all the very best on your new adventure, Ari. You’ll always be part of the CAMYOGA family. ❤️
Join us on Sunday to give Jasmine a warm welcome to her new class, and leave your good wishes for Ari in the comments.

Yoga can reduce anxiety and insomnia for people living with cancer, study finds
First clinical trial of its kind, involving 410 cancer survivors in US, also finds reductions in distress and fatigue

GOOD Yoga began with a simple idea..that yoga could be a force for good.
Since launching last July, this small weekly community class helped create a welcoming, accessible space for people to move, breathe, pause and reconnect in the middle of busy lives.
Together, we raised £363 for Centre 33 - supporting young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough , supporting vital mental health services for young people across Cambridgeshire ✨
But GOOD Yoga was about more than fundraising. It was also about:
🌿 making yoga more accessible
🌿 reducing barriers and intimidation
🌿 supporting graduate teachers from Barefoot Body Training
🌿 creating a softer, community-centred space to practise
Thank you to everyone who came along, donated, taught, shared, supported and helped shape the class over the past months. Every person contributed to something genuinely kind.
GOOD Yoga may be ending in its current form, but this is not the end 💛
From June, we’ll be introducing monthly Saturday Specials taught by graduate teachers from Barefoot Body Training, and we hope to see many of you there.

On Saturday 23 May, join Tamara Tirják for Mantras in Motion, a Saturday Special that explores how mantra can move beyond sound and become something you experience through the whole body.
Using simple, accessible movement inspired by Odissi (a classical Indian dance form), you’ll learn a mantra and explore how it connects with breath, rhythm and awareness - in a way that complements and deepens your yoga practice.
It’s a chance to:
– experience mantra in a more embodied way
– add creativity and lightness to your practice
– try something different, without needing any experience
Most importantly, it’s a fun, welcoming space to explore.
