Join the conscious coupling of Eleanor Breeze and Sid White-Jones for an exhibition co-curated by the artists themselves. Artspace, 5 Green's Road, Cambridge CB4 3EF.
Images show close ups from the exhibition. Eleanor and Sid both use found photos as a starting point, working to capture a record of stories that are lost or at risk of becoming lost. Items such as family pets, bunches of flowers and ceremonial cakes become visual anchors and personal motifs which can be seen repeated time and time again, hinting at the struggle of a process that can never be complete.

This Friday and Saturday 10-6pm in Artspace: The Wedding of Ellie & Sid. Dig out your glad rags and join the conscious coupling of Eleanor Breeze and Sid White-Jones for an exhibition co-curated by the artists themselves. After five years of friendship and creative dialogue, it’s time to tie the knot.
The Wedding of Ellie and Sid brings together both artists’ work for the first time. Each drawing on a longstanding alphabet of visual references, Eleanor and Sid both use found photos as a starting point, working to capture a record of stories that are lost or at risk of becoming lost. Items such as family pets, bunches of flowers and ceremonial cakes become visual anchors and personal motifs which can be seen repeated time and time again, hinting at the struggle of a process that can never be complete.
