Yesterday, our young Stags had the pleasure of hosting and playing Cricket Wales East U12s. 12-yo, Veeraj Bell with an outstanding innings - 81 off 67 balls. Played V 👊👏🦌

Some great performances today from our Stags in representative cricket...

First up, KB - an outstanding century (131* off 109 balls) for U14s against Dorset on his home ground 😍👊🦌🌼

Next up, well done to , who was on fire at the end of day one for GlosYoungCricketers, finishing with superb figures of 3-12 in six overs against Worcestershire 👏🦌👊

And last but certainly not least, a huge well done to Rhodri Lewis, who produced a magnificent 108 for Wales National County against Shropshire today. Outstanding innings! 💯🦌👏

Congratulations to our U15 Stags who completed an outstanding victory over Penarth this evening!
The Stags posted an imperious 161/8, including a quick fire 49 (38) and KB 39 (25) and the boys managed to restrict Penarth to 69, thanks to Ollie Williams (4/15), Veeraj Bell (2/9) and Dylan Janczewski (2/24). The young stags now progress onto the final at Sophia Gardens on the 18th of August! Thank you Penarth Cricket Club | Est. 1851 for hosting, well played both teams and well done Stags!🦌🦌

🚨Results🚨- Mixed fortunes for our senior sides this weekend. However, the 1st Xi brought home the points in a last ball thriller thanks to an 💣! and the 4th Xi completed an impressive victory over Lisvane thanks to an incredible Martyn Deverell hundred, well played all!🦌🦌

Well...it was another fantastic Tom’s Day at St Fagans CC on Friday.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it such a success – our volunteers, sponsors, players, entertainers and everyone who came along and took a table or a seat to support the day. Legends the lot of you. Your generosity helped raise valuable funds for the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust and WREX, two charities doing superb work.

A special mention to Matthew Maynard and the Maynard family for everything they do to ensure Tom’s legacy continues to bring people together each year.

A brilliant day once again remembering a great man while supporting two fantastic causes. Thank you all and we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2027 🦌💙🏏

Tom’s Day returns to St Fagans Cricket Club this Friday. The lunch is its usual sell-out affair but everyone is welcome to join us from 4pm for our annual charity match.

It’s a chance to remember Tom, enjoy a great afternoon of cricket and help raise money for two brilliant causes – the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust and WREX.
