The final game for the vets not at the races for this one we played poor tbh maybe due to playing 2nd then first in table within space of 5 days we ran out of gas and fair play to Tarporley took there chances on the day and we just couldn’t score

Man of match Charlie Cooke come on and full of energy and made a difference but just wasn’t our day thanks for Tarporley for the food also in the forresters really nice food and warm welcome 🙏

So last night we played top of the league Cheshire Vikings who have beat every side this season in our league so far including a 10-3 win at start of season against us in start of season so there was only one way we was gonna play this one park the bus which was a tactical master plan from Nodz we started strong and managed to take a 1-0 lead through James with hitting double figures in what his 5 game
For us and we should have probs got another in first half but Vikings keeper making a good save better team first half with Vikings looking off it but second half Vikings woke up and was all over us like a rash and a long ball into the box and a defensive error they managed to make it 1-1 and tbh it was a really even game with both sides creating chances Hoole holding there own and managed to get a second with a cross and epic volley from
Campbell took a deflection and going pass Vikings keeper putting us 2-1 up we could of had a few more but the keeper making 2 class saves at point blank then Vikings put on more pressure and managed to get in behind and made it 2-2 both teams created for after that but the game finished 2-2 so proud of the lads for that performance all over the pitch great result for us and we wish Cheshire Vikings a massive congratulations on promotion good group and top gaffer in watto I hope they go on again to win div 4 worthy winners this year thanks for the game
