This weekend was also the chance for some pre-season matches for the boys JDL team.

The Junior Development League gives under 14 boys and girls the chance to play competitive 11-a-side league hockey on a Saturday and a stepping stone on their pathway to adult hockey.

Yesterday, the Hawks Hockey Club U14’s Boys finished RU 🥈on goal difference in the JDL pre-season comp at Bede's Senior School 🩵🧡🏑

Thanks to Dean Harrison for taking the team.

The parents appears to be in good voice from the sideline as well😎🙌

🏑HAWKS LADIES 1ST XI IS GO🩵🧡

Today saw the official launch of our first Hawks adult hockey team. A team of girls aged U18 with the occasional sprinkling of seasoned campaigners have been entered in the South East England Hockey leagues for the season.

Providing a pathway to adult hockey in an environment that young players are comfortable in, surrounded by friends and similarly aged players is what this is all about.

What a start it was in the sunshine ☀️ at Worth School as Middleton Hockey Club came to call.

The girls rose to the occasion winning 6-0 (4 for Izzy C with 1 each for Saina and Isla) and opening their account with some brilliant hockey 🏑 🥅.

If this sounds like something you or perhaps your daughter would like to be a part of, please get in contact. DM or visit our website for more details.

What a week in Holland! 🇳🇱🏑

Young players from Hawks Hockey Club, six other UK clubs, and some incredible young Dutch players came together for an unforgettable experience. From watching the Dutch women and England men dominate in Amstelveen, to conquering Baron 1898 at Efteling, every moment was packed with excitement.

After a two-day dutch training camp and two days of fierce competition, Team Australia edged out Team Netherlands in a thrilling final to become champions of the inaugural Kick n Sticks Junior World Cup international tournament at MHC Hoco.

Memories made, friendships formed, and hockey enjoyed at its very best. 🩵🧡🏑

The (nearly) end of our 2nd season at Hawks and another fantastic season it was too. The U14 boys and Girls as well as the U16 girls performed brilliantly in their respective leagues.

For the U14’s in both girls and boys the majority will be returning to the same age group next season and be able to build on their season from this year.

The U16 girls went into the final game of the season with a chance to top the league and we are@still await f confirmation from the league.

The Junior Development League Girls team not only topped the league but then won the playoffs with some outstanding hockey throughout the season as many girls were given the chance to play full pitch, 11–a-side hockey for the first time.

All is not over for the U10 & U12 boys and girls as we play host to the regional finals alongside clubs & as we welcome the qualifying teams from Kent, Surrey and Sussex to on 26th April.

Big thank you to .school for your support throughout the season and also to for providing delicious treats for everyone on 26th April as well as parents and members for some fab cakes.
