Rest is often seen as something we earn, but Restorative Yoga reminds us that rest is a vital part of wellbeing.
When we allow ourselves to pause, the body has an opportunity to replenish energy stores, support healing and restore balance.
In a world that often keeps us in “doing mode,” Restorative Yoga offers an opportunity to simply be.
Supported by props and held in gentle shapes, the practice encourages the body to shift from a state of vigilance into rest and recovery. Perfect for moving into the weekend!
The props allow the body to feel completely held, reducing muscular effort and inviting a profound sense of safety.
When the body feels supported, it becomes easier to release tension and soften both physically and mentally.
