Our pre-season campaign may end in defeat, but there were plenty of positives to take from today’s performance. 💙

A strong first half saw us take the lead through Millie Guest, who produced a fantastic strike from the edge of the area to send us into the break 1-0 ahead. ⚽️🔥

Just after the restart, SJR found an equaliser before the game was unfortunately interrupted by a lengthy stoppage following a medical emergency involving one of our spectators.

After the long delay, both sides had opportunities to take the win, but SJR took two of their chances to secure the victory.

A difficult way to finish pre-season, but plenty of positives to build on as we now turn our attention towards the competitive season. 💪

A tough result for the Reserves at home against Sheffield Wednesday Ladies Reserves yesterday.

Despite the scoreline, there were plenty of positives to take from the game. It was a much closer contest than the result suggests, with the team ultimately punished for three mistakes.

Another valuable test as we continue our preparations, with plenty to take forward into the next fixture.
