Another fabulous addition to the team, even tho sheβs a SAFC supporter we let her in the team! We are all friends in Cricket! No one else like wor Vicky! Broken fingers wonβt stop her! β€οΈπ€
Hi, Iβm Vicky I wanted to join the cricket team as I thought it would be a good way to socialise and keep fit at the same time and be involved in a team sport.
I am active and enjoy running and walking my cockapoo, Lucky. I enjoy going to watch my beloved footy team SAFC, having a few bevvies and my two children keep me on my toes.
I must admit itβs been challenging learning how to bowl a ball after 30 years and also breaking my finger but I am learning every week with the support of a lovely bunch of ladies who have made me feel very welcome.

New addition to the team! And a fabulous addition she is! Meet Philippa and Baileyβ€οΈπ€
Hi, Iβm Philippa and Iβve always had a passion for keeping active and enjoying the outdoors. Whether itβs playing tennis, going to the gym, walking my beagle Bailey, or spending time at the beach, I love anything that keeps me moving and enjoying life. Alongside my love for sport and the outdoors, I also run my own dog walking and home boarding business, Bark and Ride, which combines two things I love most β dogs and being outside.
After not playing cricket for over 20 years, I decided it was time to step outside of my comfort zone and give it another go by joining Sacriston Ladies. I was worried I might be too old to start again, but Iβve absolutely loved being back on the field and part of such a supportive team. Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome β Iβm really looking forward to the rest of the season!

Proud as punch of these ladies β what a day we had! β€οΈπ
Three wins and just one loss in todayβs festival saw us reach the play-off for 3rd place, and the girls absolutely smashed it!
Finishing 3rd out of 10 teams is an incredible achievement, and every single player should be proud of what they contributed today. The teamwork, determination, support, and laughter were there from start to finish.
A huge thank you to the wonderful ladies at Lanchester Ladies Cricket Team for hosting such a fantastic festival. It was a pleasure to play against such a fabulous group of ladies throughout the day.
We had an amazing time and canβt wait to see you all again soon!
Well done, Segga Lasses β€οΈπ€π

Hot one in the sunshine, but as always we had a laugh and enjoyed the evening. We continue to grow, learn with the overs games & improve as a team every game πͺ
