❤️ Sad news from Segga Camp ❤️

Sad news to report from Segga Camp… Sam has decided that her time at Segga has come to an end. 😢

She will be a huge miss — not just on the field, but off it too! ❤️

Sam brought the lively vibes, the inappropriate conversations 😂 and always had something to contribute as a brilliant team player. She was always ready to get involved, have a laugh and add to the Segga spirit.

And let’s talk about that bowling! 🎯🏏 Absolutely on point!
To think that just three years ago she refused to even consider playing cricket… look at her now! 😂 What a player she has become.

Sam, you will genuinely be a massive miss to our team. Thank you for all the laughs, memories, questionable conversations and everything you’ve brought to Segga. We wouldn’t be where we are now without you being a huge part of it ❤️

We wish you all the very best for whatever comes next and hope you know you’ll always have a place in the Segga family. 🫶🏼

Miss you already… love you, bye! ❤️😂🏏

Wishing our Sam, Gina, Angela and Vicky all the very best today as they take on the 13.1 miles of the Great North Run! 🏃‍♀️❤️

We are so proud of you all! Enjoy every minute, soak up the atmosphere, take in that amazing crowd and, when it gets tough, take a moment to think about why you chose the charities you’re running for and all the people you’re helping along the way. ❤️

You’ve got this! 💪🏼

We’ll see you at the finish line! 🏁🥰

Lots of love ❤️

🏏 FRIDAY NIGHT CRICKET - AND WHAT A WAY TO FINISH! ❤️💙

Friday saw us at home against the wonderful Lanchester Ladies, and first of all, we want to say a massive thank you to you girls for being such brilliant opponents. It’s always a pleasure seeing you all, and we genuinely couldn’t be happier to see the improvement you’ve made throughout the season.

Your first season together as a team, and the commitment you’ve shown is clear for everyone to see. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves - well done, ladies!

Sacriston did come away with the win, which means… SACRISTON LADIES ARE THE PAIRS LEAGUE WINNERS! 🏆🥳

We do still have play-offs to come across the other leagues, however, due to pitch availability and the weather, the date is currently looking likely to be set for next April. So, there’s still plenty to look forward to!

And finally, a massive THANK YOU to our lasses for this season. ❤️

We’ve had so many new ladies join us this year, alongside our OGs, and the improvement across the whole team has been incredible to watch. We’ve worked together, supported each other, had our ups and our downs, laughed, learned and battled through - but we’ve got there in the end!

We couldn’t be more proud of every single one of you. The commitment, effort and team spirit you’ve shown has been fantastic, and it’s been an absolute pleasure watching this team grow.

Pairs League Champions 2026! 🏆❤️

Here’s to the rest of the season, the play-offs and whatever comes next…
SO INCREDIBLY PROUD OF YOU ALL. ❤️🖤,

(Sorry Philippa I know you weren’t ready in the pic lol).

Thursday our ladies managed to dodge the rain 🌧️ and get our rescheduled away game against Beamish played! 🏏❤️🖤

What a great game and plenty of fun as always! Beamish came out on top this time, so that makes it 1 win each this season — that makes us even, ha! 😂🙌

Just ONE more game to go before we bring our season to an end! 🏏

Let’s finish on a high, ladies! ❤️🖤

Up the Segga! ❤️🖤
