Last week we finished our Dundee Train Like a Pro Camp and tomorrow we look forward to our final and funnest camp of the summer! ☀️

Five days, a brilliant group of goalkeepers, and a serious amount of hard work. Diving, distribution, 1v1s, crosses and plenty of laughs in between. Every single keeper who came in got better and that’s all we want to see. Well done to all of you, and thank you to the parents who backed them and gave them the opportunity!

This is our 5th annual Ultimate GK camp and it’s the one the kids and coaches look forward to all summer. Daily challenges. Prizes to be won. And yes, beach training is back.

The forecast has been kind to us too, with 24 degrees and sunshine on the way midweek meaning our annual beach training day is looking like it’ll be a good one!

If your goalkeeper has nothing on this week and you want to get them training and having fun among other keepers then this is your chance. All ages, all abilities, complete beginners very welcome.

🏆 THAT'S A WRAP ON THE BGK SHETLAND WORLD CUP CAMP 2026! ⚽🧤

Now the dust has settled… 114 players. Our biggest Shetland camp EVER. What a week!

Five days of nations league battles, Number Football, Goal Rush, Goalie Wars and a Grand Final Friday that had everything - including Scotland winning a penalty shoot-out after a last minute equaliser in front of a packed out crowd (we checked, it did really happen 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿)

Day four of the Shetland World Cup Camp and the Grand Final is nearly upon us ⚽🏆

Today was all about football brains. Our outfielders sharpened their Game Intelligence and Decision Making inspired by Real Madrid legend Pepe, while our goalkeepers channelled the main man himself, World Cup winner Emi Martinez, for Shot Stopping and 1v1s day. One of our keepers even recreated Emi's famous World Cup trophy pose - swipe through to spot it, we think Dibu himself would approve! 🧔

The teamwork on show was brilliant, and the communication has improved day by day. Watching the nations organise, encourage and battle for every point ahead of tomorrow has been a joy!

We also began practicing our national anthems ahead of tomorrow's finals, where every nation will be singing them out on the pitch. Flower of Scotland was belted out in style... the others were more of a mumble! 😂

If any of our parents hear French, Norwegian or Spanish coming from the shower tonight, don't panic - there's a World Cup final in the morning and national pride is on the line! 🇫🇷🇦🇷🇳🇴🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Tomorrow is the big one: Super Fun World Cup Final Friday. Anthems, the Grand Final, Goalie Wars finals, trophies and the crowning of our champion nations. See you all in the morning! 💙

Day three of the Shetland World Cup Camp and the tournament is officially ON ⚽🏆

Today the kids were drawn into their World Cup nations, and the Clickimin 60:40 turned into France, Argentina, Scotland and Norway battling it out in every age group!

On the football side, our outfielders worked on Speed, Agility and Finishing inspired by today's icon Kylian Mbappe, while our goalkeepers took on Crossing and Commanding the Box with Arsenal's David Raya as their man to copy.

Then it was over to the World Cup, and after some brilliant battles our first champions were crowned: Argentina, France and Scotland all topping their age brackets and earning their photo with the World Cup trophy! Norway pushed them all the way and there are plenty more points up for grabs.

The leaderboards are live, the Transfer Window opens tomorrow morning, and it's all building towards Friday's Grand Final. Tomorrow we sharpen our football brains with Game Intelligence day and possibly the best keeper of recent times… Emi Martinez, for the keepers.

We’re also very much looking forward to the first renditions of their national anthems! 🇦🇷🇫🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇳🇴

Day two of the Shetland World Cup Camp and the Clickimin 60:40 was buzzing again ⚽🏆

Our outfielders spent the morning on Ball Mastery and Creativity, getting comfortable on the ball and brave enough to try their skills, while our afternoon camp goalkeepers became Sweeper Keepers, working on their distribution and learning to start attacks from the back.

Today's Icon players were Lionel Messi and Ederson. Messi is lighting up the World Cup for Argentina, while Ederson is out there with Brazil as one of the finest ball-playing keepers in the game. Watching the kids try to copy that close control and those pinpoint passes was a joy, and the behaviour, attitude and skills on show were once again tremendous!

Tomorrow we step things up with Speed, Agility and Finishing for the outfielders and Crossing and Commanding the Box for our keepers. Can't wait to see you all again! 💙

Shetland World Cup Camp got off to a great start today at the Clickimin 60:40 ⚽️🏆

With over 100 kids coming along to compete for the World Cup this is without a doubt the busiest camp we’ve had the pleasure of running!

Today was focused on teamwork, learning how to communicate effectively and providing them with the foundations to push on and have a brilliant week!

As always, the behaviour, attitude and skills on show were tremendous. Todays Icon players were Andy Robertson and Ochoa and although Scotland may be knocked out, seeing so many kids having fun and wanting to replicate the same skills they see on tv from the World Cup just shows the power that football has!

We’re looking forward to Ball Mastery and Sweeper Keeper day tomorrow and can’t wait to see you all again! 💙
