Helping results-driven women lead with impact and confidence. Leading in today’s fast-paced and constantly changing world is challenging. Job expectations these days not only mean delivering results but also engaging, inspiring and motivating team members – it’s exhausting, isn’t it? Add to that worries about not being good enough, lacking in confidence to step forward for new career progressing r

What if you’re not lacking confidence - just exhausted from always being bulletproof?

You hold it all together.
You prep twice as much.
You notice the details no one else does.
You anticipate everyone’s reactions.

No wonder you’re tired.

A lot of high-performing women think they have a confidence issue.
But what they actually have is a chronic case of never feeling safe to drop the ball.

This isn’t about learning how to be more confident.
It’s about learning how to recognise the things you already do brilliantly - and giving yourself credit for them.

Confidence starts with evidence.
Let this be your first piece.

Take the Executive Presence Indicator and find out where you're already stronger than you think. Link in the comments.

I used to think the hardest part of leadership was 'doing it right'.
Turns out, it’s saying it out loud - especially when the stakes are high, and the politics are thicker than the strategy deck.

You know the drill - you’ve spent three days drafting an email.
Not because it’s complex.
Because it’s political.

A restructure’s being pushed through that looks neat on paper - but you already know exactly where it’s going to break:

Tim in Ops, already drowning in escalations.

CSAT scores, still fragile from last month’s dodgy release.

Suzy, who’ll end up managing Customer Success and the office move and morale.

You, left holding the fallout.

You want to speak up.
But the second-guessing kicks in:

Will I sound difficult? Am I undermining someone? Is it even worth it?

You rewrite the message.
You rehearse imaginary backlash.
You ask your partner, who says “just be honest” - which is about as helpful as a chocolate fireguard.

And all the while, you’re thinking:

Why is this still so hard, when I’m meant to be good at this by now?

You need a safe space to say it messy - before you say it clean, where it counts.

That’s exactly what happens inside The Inner Circle.

You get a consistent, confidential space.

You bring the knotty, political, high-stakes stuff.
I help you name what’s really going on, clarify your thinking, and work out your next move.

And you’re not doing it alone.

You’re surrounded by smart, experienced women who are leading through the same complexity you are - who ask sharp questions, spot patterns, and offer the truth you won’t get from your peers or your partner.

It’s part sounding board, part strategy room, part sanctuary.
With people who won’t let you shrink, spin, or dilute yourself.

You leave every conversation knowing what you’re going to say, why it matters, and how you’ll hold your ground.

That’s what shifts things. Not generic advice. Not mindset work.

I still remember the moment my MD told me I needed to work on my executive presence.

It was like a kick in the gut, because when you're already lacking confidence, and struggling with executive presence, the last thing you want is for someone to point it out to you.

I was lucky to be offered the opportunity to work with a coach and that changed everything for me.

But often, senior women are told they need to work on the Executive Presence without any guidance or support on how to do that.

I've created a quick Executive Presence Indicator that gives you practical insights and recommendations that will help you right now without having to be someone you're not.

It only takes about two minutes.

I'll put the link in the comments.

You’re in a senior leadership call.
Your name’s just been thrown in to “provide a quick strategic steer.”
You nod. Say something that sounds halfway coherent.
Then spend the next hour replaying it in your head wondering if you just tanked your credibility.

This isn’t new.
The spiral happens every time:

You’re firefighting on three fronts

You’re covering for gaps no one sees but you

And even though you’re leading at a high level,
you keep circling the same thought:
“Why can’t I get a grip on this?”

You’re smart. You’re capable. You used to feel sharp.

But right now?
You’re operating on pressure, panic, and too much coffee.
And starting to doubt whether you’ve still got it.

That’s the moment this was made for.

Not the tidy version of you.
The one who’s tired of second-guessing her every move
and wants to feel competent again now.

If you’ve ever triple-checked your slides at 11pm wearing pyjamas, with a glass of Rioja in one hand and a half-eaten packet of cheesy puffs in the other… this is for you.

You’ve hit every goal they set.

You’ve got the respect, the results, the seat at the table.

So why are you still rehearsing your opening line like you’re auditioning for a West End show?

Why do you feel like you’re one awkward pause away from someone finding out you’re winging it?

Because you’ve spent your whole career being told to “just be more confident” - and you’ve tried.

God, you’ve tried.

You read the books.

Took the coaching.

Meditated so hard you nearly levitated.

And still, your stomach knots every time you speak up in a room full of people who look like they woke up born for it.

This is what IGNITE Your Impact is built for.

A 90-day reset that gets you out of the performance spiral and back into self-belief. The grounded kind. The real kind.

Not the “channel your inner goddess” kind.

This isn’t a leadership course.

It’s an unlearning of everything that’s been burning you out.

Pyjamas optional. Courage essential.

The Executive Presence Indicator for Female Leaders 12/08/2026

You already speak up. But you dilute your authority in the first 10 seconds with “I might be wrong” and “this is just a thought.”

That’s not humility.
That’s self-protection.

It sounds small. It isn’t.

Those opening words tell the room how seriously to take you. And when you downplay your own thinking, people follow your lead.

The irony?

You’re usually the most prepared person there.

You’ve thought it through.
Run the risks.
Anticipated objections.

Meanwhile someone else walks in half-ready and states their opinion like it’s policy.

This isn’t a confidence issue.

Confidence is a lagging emotion.

This is about tolerating the exposure of speaking cleanly.

No disclaimer.
No verbal shrinking.
Just the point.

It will feel uncomfortable at first.

Good.

That’s the edge between competent and authoritative.

And most women I work with are already more than competent.

They’re capable.
They’re credible.
They’re carrying the weight of the team.

But in the first few seconds of a sentence, they quietly hand their authority away.

Not because they’re unsure.
Because they’re managing risk.

Managing how they’re perceived.
Managing the possibility of being wrong.
Managing the chance someone might disagree.

Executive presence isn’t about becoming louder.
It’s about becoming cleaner.

Cleaner language.
Cleaner recommendations.
Cleaner positioning.

Instead of:
“I might be wrong but…”

Try:
“Based on the data, this is the direction I recommend.”

Same intelligence.
Very different impact.

The thing is – most of your dilution patterns are invisible to you because they feel normal.

That’s why I created the Executive Presence Scorecard.

It shows you:
– Where you’re unintentionally weakening your authority
– How you respond under pressure
– What to sharpen first

Not generic advice.
A clear debrief.

No more waiting.
No more hiding.

Lead like the level you’re already operating at.

I once spent 3 weeks preparing for a 20-minute slot in a client QBR.

Not because I didn’t know what I was talking about.

Not because the content wasn’t ready.

But because I was trying to pre-empt every possible question, objection, and facial expression.

I wanted to look polished.

Sound credible.

Be “ready.”

And underneath that?

I didn’t want to be caught out.

I didn’t want to feel exposed.

I didn’t feel like I was enough.

That meeting went fine.

Most of the questions I’d prepared for never came up.

And afterwards I thought:

This is not sustainable.

It wasn’t the workload that drained me.

It was the internal panic loop.

The “better cover everything” spiral.

The pressure to show up like someone who never drops the ball.

That’s exactly the loop I help my clients break.

Because confidence doesn’t come from over-prepping.

It comes from trusting that you know your stuff - even if you don’t have a bulletproof answer for everything.

That shift?

It’s not about adding confidence. It’s about subtracting the stuff that’s crushing it.

Your body language is crucial for imparting your thoughts and feelings about any situation to others. When someone is talking to you, if you’re not looking at them and showing that you’re listening appropriately, it can give the impression that you’re nervous when you may not be at all. By contrast, when you place your attention on the other person and maintain appropriate eye contact you'll seem confident and self-assured.

So here's why eye contact is so important.

1. It creates an emotional connection

While it may not be universal, in most Western countries, looking at people helps form an emotional connection. It instils trust and makes people feel connected with each other. When people feel more connected to you, they respond differently, and that response is what informs your own feelings about the situation.

2. Eye contact creates a trusting feeling

If you want to elicit trust from the people you communicate with, learning how to give the right amount of eye contact will help you build trust with others faster. As humans, we are less likely to trust someone whose eyes are shifting around than when someone holds our attention. You may only be nervous, but you might be perceived as untrustworthy. Noticing and practising your eye contact will help because the more people trust you, the more you’ll feel trusted, and the more it will increase your confidence.

3. You’ll feel more confident

It's important for you to feel and act confident so that you can be confident. Confidence does not happen all at once, overnight. Instead, the actions you take will build upon each other to create the confidence you want.

But how much eye contact is normal?

Don't overthink it - just try to match the people you’re communicating with. When you mirror their eye contact, they’ll feel most comfortable with you. And if you're in front of a room of people, the mantra I have is 'one person, one point' - so practice finding someone in the crowd, make your point, then move on.
