Last night I had the pleasure of speaking to the BossMums networking group as part of Menopause Awareness Month.

We explored some of the common myths surrounding menopause and why informed choice matters.

Women can seek advice, ask questions and understand the evidence, but ultimately it is their decision how they want to manage their menopause, including how they weigh up potential benefits and risks.

The Q&A was particularly engaging, with women sharing a range of experiences and stories.

Those conversations matter because there is no one size fits all approach to menopause.

I was delighted to present to Heriot Watt University yesterday on Busting Menopause Myths.

We looked at some of the common myths around menopause and how having the right information can help you make choices that are right for you.

We also discussed the menopause policy being developed at Heriot Watt, and why having a policy alone isn’t enough. We need a culture that supports it too.

It was a really engaged audience, with lots of questions, comments and shared experiences. Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation.

I was delighted to present today to The Sisterhood Networking Group on Busting Menopause Myths.

I love being able to keep menopause on the agenda, particularly during Menopause Awareness Month, and have honest conversations that help cut through the noise.

It was also lovely to meet some fantastic women in the group, with some potential collaborations for the future.

Are you feeling more emotional than you used to?
Perhaps it is sadness.
Or anger.
Or rage.
Or even despair.

Maybe you were previously quite levelheaded, but now you never know how you are going to feel from one day to the next.
And perhaps the biggest concern is that you feel like you have lost a bit of yourself.

These emotional changes can be symptoms of perimenopause or menopause.
However, you have options.

For some women, hormone therapy may be appropriate. For others, lifestyle changes such as exercise, improving sleep and managing stress may be helpful. Often it is about understanding your symptoms and considering what is right for you.

If this feels like you or someone you know, book a free RESET call and find out how you can understand your symptoms, explore your options and start feeling like yourself again.

Would you happily put your head on a desk and go to sleep mid-afternoon?

Fatigue is a common menopause symptom, and poor sleep can make it worse.
Protect your sleep, eat regular balanced meals with plenty of protein and fibre, and consider whether treatment options could help.

You do not have to simply push through.

If this feels like you, or someone you know, book a free RESET call and find out how you can restore your energy and perform at your best at work.

October is Menopause Awareness Month.
But I talk about menopause all year.
So why mark October?

My aim? To make menopause part of normal conversations about women’s health, work and wellbeing.
And ultimately, to create a culture where we no longer need a Menopause Awareness Month.
If this feels like you, or someone you know, book a free RESET call and find out how you can get clear on your options and feel more in control.

Has indecision become your new default?

You used to make decisions without giving them a second thought.
Now you find yourself procrastinating, overthinking and questioning even simple decisions.

At work, this can knock your confidence. You know you are capable, but suddenly you are not so sure of yourself.
Brain fog and cognitive changes can be part of perimenopause and menopause.

There are things that can help.

If this feels like you or someone you know, contact me for a free RESET call and find out how you can feel more confident and in control again.

Tired. No energy. Emotional. Full of self doubt. Wondering why they don't recognise themselves anymore.

These are common symptoms of perimenopause, but they are often dismissed as stress or simply getting older.

You don't have to just put up with it. Understanding what is happening is the first step towards feeling like yourself again.

If this feels like you, or someone you know, contact me for a free RESET call and find out how you can regain your confidence, energy and feel like yourself again.
