If I look tired, I am.
But for THE BEST reason.
Over the past three months I have been pouring everything I have got into a brand new leadership development programme, The Leading Edge.
And today the programme launched with the first cohort 🥳
Who are just incredible.
Ambitious leaders from Clarins, luxury hotel chains, law firms, the Amazon marketplace & charities who have all signed up because they aren't willing to accept average, they want to be exceptional.
And I am beyond excited to teach them how.
This course is everything I wish existed when I was leading a law firm.
High performance coaching.
Practical leadership strategies & tools.
The neuroscience of human behaviour.
Based on 18 years of real world leadership experience, 6 years of working with high performing leaders & a whole load of business, leadership & neuroscience courses.
It's not a surface level tick box course that changes nothing.
It's a deep learning experience that changes everything.
And I am so flipping excited to finally get it out into the world 🌎
We have only had one live session & already I have received amazing feedback:
"WOW! Loved session one sooo much! I’ve just done the survey too it’s brilliant"
"I've recognised my weak spots already, thank you for the initial assessment, very insightful."
Eeeek I can't wait to see the IMPACT these leaders make with what they learn 👀
*I didn't do a public launch as I knew I already had some incredible leaders in my world & when I mentioned it to them, they were an immediate "yes" so the spaces were instantly filled.
There will be a second cohort launching in Autumn though so if you want to be notified, send me a DM & I will add you to the waitlist.

Right where every other brilliant leader is too.
At their growth edge, stepping up, stretching their limits & expanding what they are capable of.
All of them winging it, hoping they have got it & terrified that they haven't.
I know this because they tell me.
Even the ones who have successfully scaled & exited multi-million pound businesses still feel like they don't know what they are doing.
But here's what I need you to know.
Imposter syndrome has absolutely nothing to do with your capability & everything to do with your biology.
It is simply your brain's threat detection system deciding that the move you want to make is dangerous so it starts filling your head with rubbish about not being good enough to try & put you off doing it.
Which means the move is precisely the direction you should go in.
I would be more worried if you never feel like an imposter as that tells me everything you're doing is comfortable & if it's comfortable, it's not progress.
The self-doubt is not a sign that you can't do it.
It's a sign that you haven't done it YET.

One of them is in the middle of launching a brand new luxury hotel.
One is moving house, today!!
One joined from Australia where it's 10pm for her.
One joined with her gorgeous little baby on her knee.
All of them had a million & one other things they could have been doing at 1pm today.
Yet they still showed up because they care about being the best leader they can be.
Absolute legends 👏
I am celebrating you all 🥳
If you want to be in the room next month with other brilliant leaders all there to learn the mindsets, strategies & tools to be even more brilliant, come on in.
We would love to have you.

This morning we hosted something pretty special.
In partnership with the fabulous Matt West & Allica Bank we brought 17 seven figure business leaders together to sit around a table together & talk shop.
It was a carefully curated roundtable for leaders who had reached a level in business where they lose access to conversations like this.
Unfortunately I can't spill the tea & tell you what we talked about as the conversations were strictly confidential 🤐
What I can tell you though is the feedback people shared as they left:
➡️ It was extremely positive, insightful & helpful - & a great bunch of people.
➡️ It was really great to be introduced to so many senior business leaders I haven't met before.
➡️ It was nice to know I am not the only one experiencing these things.
➡️ It was refreshing how open & honest people were.
➡️ It was interesting to hear how many people's success was driven by fear of failure & imposter syndrome, I thought that was just me.
➡️ I was inspired just listening to everyone sharing their journeys & experiences.
No business cards were exchanged.
Just real, honest conversations with people who get it.
And this is what it is all about for me, people.
AI has its place but ultimately business is human & as we said in the room this morning, this is what will always be at the heart of every successful business.
That's why rooms like this are so needed, now more than ever, & why I will forever create them.
Thank you to everyone who came & contributed, you made it what it was.
Thank you also to my fabulous co-host Matt & Allica Bank for partnering with me on this, and to Newton Abbot Racecourse Events for hosting us superbly as always.
If you are a senior business leader & would like to be in the room next time, message me & I will send you the details.

The stress & overwhelm was real.
She was running on nervous energy, distracted with constant thoughts about work, anxious about what was coming her way that day.
The final straw was noticing she was snapping at her daughter over breakfast, the mum guilt kicked in & she hired me.
Here's what we did:
1) Immediately identified what was hers to own & gave responsibility for everything else to the other two Directors. She had been carrying the load because that was what she felt she had to do as Director. The minute she shared it, the relief was instant.
2) Stopped trying to control the things she couldn't. Every time a curve ball comes away she now asks herself "what can I actually do about this?". If the answer is "nothing" she lets it go & instead gives her time & energy to what she can control. This is how she stopped wasting hours stressing about cash flow & lined up over £1m in projected sales.
3) Stripped it back. Not everything is a problem for today, some things are tomorrow's problem (or even next years problem). We identified what the real key priorities were & parked everything else.
4) Immediately introduced high performance habits that would support her energy & resilience. Morning workouts & ice baths are now a non-negotiable.
5) Committed to a working from home day once a week. Being in the office was a distraction & being in that environment was creating extra stress. Her WFH days are now her most productive & least stressful days.
6) Made fun a priority. Early finishes to pick her daughter up from school, weekends away with her husband, drives to Plymouth to see family. The business was supposed to support the life she wanted not the other way round, so we shifted what came first.
7) Whenever she is unsure what to do, she channels her inner Emma Grede, makes a decision & commits to it. No more wasted hours procrastinating & overthinking, just action.
She recently told me she feels the best she has ever felt.
She is back in control, huge projects are in the pipeline, & most importantly she is being the mum she wants to be.
Priceless.

Post inspired by a client call today where she told me not checking her emails first thing had stopped them spiking her stress levels & hijacking her day.
It had also stopped her being snappy & distracted at breakfast with her little girl.
Priceless.
*oh & she is on fire at work too because she has taken back control of her day 🔥

Behind every woman is a team of incredible women cheering her on.
These are mine.
Thank you John Baker & Jenny Paton for a gorgeous day at Newton Abbot Races, and for giving me the opportunity to celebrate the amazing female leaders I am so lucky to be surrounded by.
The power of getting out of work mode & spending time together laughing & chatting about life just cannot be underestimated.
If you haven't done it for a while, get your team out of the office & just notice what a catalyst it is for morale & connection.
These days aren't a nice to have, they are an essential element of high performing teams.
And what a high performing team I have.
Grateful for you all 🤍
