Congratulations to former FCH player Naomi Layzell who’s signed a loan deal with Everton for the upcoming season. 🔵

Naomi has had an amazing journey to date, winning the Women’s Super League with Man City last year 🏆, scoring against Barcelona in the Champions League and has also been called up to the Lionesses’ senior training camp! ⚽️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Here’s William from the U12 boys taking the FC Highnam shirt 10,000 miles around the world, all the way to Dubai, Melbourne and Sydney 🇦🇺 🇦🇪. He completed the challenge during the Australian summer earlier in the year. 👊 👕

Our first wear your 👕 this summer entry comes from Seren (U14G) who has found somewhere drier than the UK…. The desert (in Morocco Agafay). 🐪 ☀️ 👏

Exciting news! Thanks to the Football Foundation, we’ve been awarded a grant that means 4 sets of 3v3 goals will be delivered in time for the new format coming next season. 🥅 ⚽️

The field is taking a bit of a rest now during July and we’ll get round to doing some reseeding at Highnam and work at Minsterworth when / if we finally get some rain 🌧️ 🙏

4 matches, 2 x 2-0 wins, a draw with Cheltenham and conceded one wind assisted goal to eventual winners Bream. Very unlucky not to progress to the semis with 7pts, but that’s football for you! A good performance all the same from the girls. Emily Tournament Player and Liv Coaches player. 🏅
