Great games today , lots of energy used, oh and a few missed placed catches.
All in all a good morning’s workout.
With the extreme heat it’s so important to keep hydrated.
Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.
What a great turnout at this mornings game . Even playing with a Bath Rugby Ball .

Pontyclun Walking Rugby festival guidance and rules
Registration of teams arriving will commence at 9.30 a.m. and we would like to have all visiting teams registered on site by 10.00 a.m. (team managers/captains to report to the ‘control’ area on arrival so we can issue food tokens and advise matches/locations).
Club/captains and referees’ briefings will commence at 10.00 a.m. with the intention of play commencing at 10:30 am with the last matches finishing at about 13:15
We will do a photoshoot of everyone just before play starts at 10.20 ish by the clubhouse.
A playing schedule setting out their times of play and pitch allocations to help with mobilising players to the correct pitch at the right time is attached and will also be handed out on the morning (A3 size)
There will be changing rooms and toilets on site, however we recommend that due to number arriving at the same time, you arrive match ready.
Food will be served immediately after games finish and a cash bar will also be open from 12:30ish. Teams/players not playing in the last rounds should go and collect food as soon as open to reduce queues
There are plenty of open areas for gazebos so if you wish please bring yours along
The playing rules which will be used on the day are below
How long are matches?
Matches will be 7 minutes long with no half time. They will be started and stopped by way of a horn so all matches will start and finish at the same time
Our aim is for teams to play 9 matches at the festival.
We are actively looking for more people of any s*x to join our jolly bunch of players, Not sure if you fit the bill then why not pop along to one of our training sessions, we meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Oxstalls Sports Park Gloucester.
Sessions start at 10am .
Great game today
