🤘TWIN STITCHED ALCANTARA🤘

This was a full re-trim with genuine Alcantara and full grain black leather for a XSR900. The main seat panel got twin blue diamond stitching while the pillion section got embroidered.

🤘CLASSIC PROJECT🤘

Got the chance recently to work on a classic 350 Ducati Scrambler seat so had to take on the challenge. It was a full metal base up, re-foam and re-cover project and got to say, we were really pleased with the results 🤙

The bike is owed by Mark at .endcm over on instagram, he has the whole build on there so I’d definitely recommend having a look. The bike will also be at The Bike Shed Show so keep an eye out for it if you go 👌

A bit of a different job in this week 🤙

Jet ski seat completely retrimmed in EXTREMELY hard wearing marine vinyl. A little overlooked detail in the upholstery industry is job specific threads, this seat just like our motorcycle seats have been stitched with non-wicking UV stable thread stopping water from getting to the foam 👌

Africa-Twin seat UPGRADE 🤘

We get SO many of these in that we thought we would make a post about them. From factory there is only 20mm of foam at the thinnest point on these seats making for a very uncomfortable ride.

FIX:
1. We remove the original cover

2. Cut a recess into the foam thick enough to fit the gel pad

3. Cover the entire seat with a 20mm memory foam topper

4. Refit the original cover for the same OEM look but now able to soak up the miles

This job comes in at £200 with a 2 week turnaround

Really enjoyed working on this one, had it in for a while so had time to really play around with some different designs and techniques for an awesome final product 👌
