Friday 2nd October was a bit of a different outing for the Manhattan Youth pool academy…..
10 Adults and 9 kids travelled to York for a few games of bowling at Ten Pin York.
Let’s just say the academy had an absolute blast with lots of laughter, fun and competitiveness throughout the ranks.
Even the parents had a go so we split the 9 kids on 2 teams as well as the 10 parents in to 2 teams. Safe to say I think the kids scores beat the adults overall 👀🤣.
Out in front was Elise and Robert parents and we swore all they did this summer was go bowling. Gav (their dad) scored a whooping 164 on the second game…incredible!
Isabelle took the number 1 spot over the 2 games and managed 116 on the second game 🤯. Christian awarded the winner with a free hour of pool at the club and Izzy was made up.
There was a couple that were sadly poorly on the day so couldn’t make it as it would have been great to have them there.
There was some very close games and it was something different for the kids.
It was a fantastic night and a great little bonding session not just for the kids but for the parents too!
This weeks coaches player of the week goes to IZZY. The way she has conducted herself around the table, listens and is determined to get better is the reason for the award. Another free hour for Izzy 😊.
I have to say what an incredible little community academy we have and the main man Christian is always trying to give back and help everyone. I think we should just appreciate for a minute just how much he’s put in to the club and wants it to keep striving for all generations of players.
Thank you Christian 🎱
Keep an eye out for all the updates going on. It’s only getting bigger and better from here on in 🙌
