Harrogate Ladies & Girls Rugby

On the 25th of April, two of our Harrogate committee members got up at 5:30am and went down to Bristol to attend the Inclusive Leadership workshop hosted by the RFU!

We discussed how to create a more inclusive volunteering environment, including strategies to involve more people from South Asian and low economic income backgrounds. These resources and ideas can be utilised back in our home grounds in Harrogate.

We then had some lunch and watched the Women’s 6 Nations - England vs Wales☀️

Overall, a very interesting and insightful day, followed by some good rugby. ❤️💛🖤

Incredibly proud of for her start in the Women’s team which won a staggering victory, meaning they are onto the finals at Twickenham!

Playing for and starting for, a county women’s team under the age of 20 is just incredible. Can’t wait to see the great things Em accomplishes 👏
