Stage 1 remapping
Making only 102PS on the initial dyno test, running some simple diagnostic checks we found a 96% soot loading within the DPF causing excessive back pressure in the exhaust. A static regeneration of the DPF was performed reducing soot content down to 9% and the exhaust back pressure reduced to a safe level suitable for tuning.
After applying our tune we finished with delta gains of 80PS and 160Nm over the initial measurement.
102PS to 176PS
300NM to 430Nm

Dyno’d at 198PS and 350Nm

Getting a bit of engine tlc at @sptuning_ltd . Stuck in some weird low boost mode and took FORRREEVVVVEEERRRRRR to crank. Faults found: - Cam position sensor faulty, new fitted and starts on the button now. - Turbo coolant pump faulty. - Cam cover melted and pcv faulty. - Turbo actuator had been shortened, was bent and worn. - Walnut blast to clean valves, can’t believe the state of them! - Timing adjusted That’s it for now! But it also needs: - Needs a new turbo at some point, as seals are worn. - Needs a new chain as original is 11 years old and is elongated! A second trip is on the cards for the new year but just glad to have it running back how it should!
