River Tay Tour Sep 2026 โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ›ถ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ โ›บ๏ธ ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This weekend we adventured out on a mixed-craft, multi-day tour of The River Tay.

The conditions were perfect ๐Ÿ’จ ๐ŸŒž ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Challenging, fun, new skills, new experiences.

A windy loch, meandering calm river, grade 1, 2 & 3. Opportunity to challenge yourself, or portage.

Iona decided to change craft and opt for Tandem Canoe with Rab and put herself through some challenging Grade 2s. โ€œWe eat Chinese for breakfastโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚ (for those who know, know)

Wildlife included kingfishers, buzzards, red kite, and we even caught a glimpse of a beaver.

If you want transition from sheltered water and lochs to rivers, drop us a line for a bespoke session.

Tomorrow ( Sat 29 Aug) we will be supporting Auchinstarry Paddlesports Club FREE โ€˜Come and Tryโ€™ session.

Paddleboarding, Kayaking, Canoeing.

If you want to try any of these crafts come and join us at Auchinstarry Marina 1000 - 1500.

Sessions (45 mins) will run on the hour from 10am till 3pm.

What to wear: clothing you donโ€™t mind getting wet.

Whatโ€™s to bring: change of clothing (incase you get wet).

These sessions will be led by experienced instructors and coaches.

Min age 14 and must be accompanied by an adult.
