💚 WE NEED YOUR HELP — LET’S GET VAT ON CHILDREN’S INDOOR PLAY FROM 20% TO 0%! 💚

This is something that genuinely means a lot to me as a small business owner.

Kiltoonies is proud to support the Association of Indoor Play (AIP) campaign calling for admissions to children’s indoor play centres to be ZERO-rated for VAT.

The AIP represents indoor play businesses across the UK, working to support our industry and champion the importance of play for children and families.🩵

At the moment, children’s indoor play admissions are subject to 20% VAT. For small businesses like ours, that has a massive impact. Our costs continue to rise, but there’s only so much we can increase our prices — we want to keep play affordable for families too.

ZERO-rated VAT could allow indoor play businesses to reinvest more into their venues, support local jobs, keep prices as affordable as possible and continue providing safe, fun spaces for children to play, learn, socialise and simply be children. 💚

And this isn’t just about Kiltoonies.

Think about your favourite indoor play space — wherever that may be. This could make a genuine difference to its future.

🚑💚 WHY THIS DEFIBRILLATOR IS SO IMPORTANT TO US

As a children’s play centre, we specifically want our defibrillator to be equipped for both adults AND children, including child/pediatric pads. 💚

Having the correct equipment available for children is especially important to us because we welcome little ones and their families through our doors every single day.

A defibrillator is something we hope we never, ever have to use — but in a cardiac emergency, having one right here at Kiltoonies means potentially lifesaving equipment is immediately available while emergency services are on their way. 🚑❤️

And it won’t just benefit Kiltoonies. Having this equipment here adds another potentially lifesaving resource within our local community too. 🫶🏻

We have now raised an incredible £1,990 of our £2,185 target — 91%! 🥹💚
