Join us this evening 6pm - 8pm at Leicester Cycle Circuit for our Learn to Ride and Joy Rides sessions. Available for anyone aged 16 and above, bikes and helmets included. Ride Leicester British Cycling Community Coach - Leicester Leicester Cycle Circuit, Off St Oswalds Road, LE3 6RJ (entrance is opposite New Parks Leisure Centre, car parking available and walk down the pathway next to the containers to the circuit). NO BOOKING REQUIRED.

Testing our new fleet of bikes 🚴‍♂️✨

This afternoon, I spent some time testing our new fleet of bikes. These impressive little machines are designed to help us get into tight corners, enabling us to stop and follow offenders with greater ease.

They might look a little unusual 👀, but let me tell you — they can move. A training programme will soon be rolled out for Officers on how to handle them safely and effectively.
Today, I’ve also:

• Assisted with a neighbourhood dispute 🏘️
• Submitted intelligence regarding issues in the Western Ward 📄
• Attended BikeFest … GOTCHA! 🎉 Joke !!!

BikeFest is a monthly event organised in partnership with the Council. It’s where I tried the bike pictured — great fun, but very challenging to ride! 😅

BikeFest takes place on the last Saturday of every month at Leicester Cycle Circuit, located behind the Burns Flats near Herewoode Academy. Even better — it’s free! 🙌

Bike Fest returns to the Leicester Cycle Circuit next week (Saturday 30 May) - a free, monthly pop up cycling event for all ages and abilities.

Run by Ride Leicester and British Cycling, Bike Fest gives everyone the chance to enjoy riding on a smooth, fully traffic free circuit at their own pace. Whether you’re a child on a balance bike, a family looking for a fun day out, or an adult rediscovering cycling, everyone is welcome.

Bike Fest runs from 1pm to 4pm, with events taking place on the last Saturday of each month.
