Preparing for Rutland Show next week , unfortunately no pens left at Stafford this week

Busy day yesterday scanning for signet muscle and fat depth , results look exciting in a few weeks .Weaned ewe lambs and ram lambs , some ready for Grandchildren to show too .

So lovely and rewarding when you just get a photo of a lamb born from a buyer who purchased a ram lamb last year ,who are over the moon with him too 👏😃
Been sent photo of ewe with lamb who was out of an Ushers ram too .

Shearing done on tups and shearling Ewes ,before moving them to new ground , lovely day but cold nights in for a few now .

Set of triplets born last night , one ewe left before Saturday to lamb , and one in last cycle .

Ewes and lambs out today in first dry day and sunshine , shed needed for cattle now .
Let’s hope not too much more rain 🤞
