South Leicester RFC is proudly run by volunteers, and we’re asking our members, parents, supporters, friends, and families to come together for our Presidents Work Day on Saturday 6th June.

Whether you can spare an hour or stay all day, every helping hand makes a difference. There are jobs big and small, indoors and outdoors, so everyone can get involved.

Although we’re currently in the off-season, the hard work doesn’t stop.

The lads are focusing on recovery, fitness, and preparation to come back fighting fit for the 2026/27 season

We’ve got plenty of local fixtures ahead this year, so there’s absolutely no excuse not to get down and support the boys throughout the season!

After the determination, effort, and progress built last season, the squad can’t wait to get back out on that pitch and represent the club once again

Formal notice for the above meeting, which will be held in the clubhouse on Monday 1st June 2026. 7pm start.

The AGM is for voting members, if you are unsure of your 2025/26 voting status, please check with the chairman Wayne Marsden before attending, it saves any embarrassment on the door.
Honorary Life Member are entitled to attend and vote
Category memberships below are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM, provided the membership fee has not lapsed and is fully paid up for 2025/26:

Your attention is drawn to the following extract from the articles of association. No person shall become a member of the club unless:�That person has completed an application form for club membership and the directors have approved the application. (Membership starts from the date of application approval)

Nominations are invited for candidates for the following positions within the club and Ltd Company:

Company Secretary – vacant position�Club Secretary– vacant position

Nominees for vacant and existing positions must be proposed and seconded by club voting members. Nominees, proposes and seconders must have at least twelve months membership and be fully paid up. Deadline for nominations Friday 22 May 2026. Nominations should be emailed to [email protected]

Tomorrow’s shaping up to be a scorcher and we’re not just talking about the weather

Our seniors are at home as they face Vipers 2s in the final league game of the season!

The reverse fixture was our season opener and ended in a draw… so who knows what tomorrow has in store 👀

Let’s pack the sidelines one last time this season and bring that South support to cheer the lads on!

Meanwhile, our Colts – Old South are on the road, heading to Old Newts to take on Coalville in a friendly.

Our Seniors are defending home turf as they take on Rugby St Andrews, while our Colts – Old South hit the road for their clash against Market Bosworth.

And that’s not all… join us from 2:30pm for our FREE Family Fun Day! 🎉
Bring the kids along for a sweet hunt and enjoy the bouncy castle! Fun for all ages!

We’ll also be showing the Grand National in the clubhouse, so gather your friends and family and make a full day of it at South.
