Join our football family! We are currently looking for new players to join our teams across various age groups:

Youth Teams
* U7 Boys & Girls: Training Wednesdays, 5:00–6:00 PM at Lichfield Leisure Centre. Matches on Saturdays or Sundays.
* U8 Kittyhawks: Seeking 2 players (any position). Training Tuesdays, matches on Saturdays.
* U10 Fireflys (Girls): Seeking 1 experienced player. Training Mondays, 6:30–7:30 PM at King Eddie’s.
* U12 Vampires (Girls): Seeking players for any position. Training Tuesdays, 6:30–7:30 PM at The Friary. Matches on Saturday mornings.
* U14 Boys: Seeking players for any position. Training Mondays, 6:30 PM at Friary School.

Women’s Football
* General Training: Everyone welcome! Wednesdays, 8:00–9:00 PM at Lichfield Leisure Centre.
* AFC Fradley Aces: Seeking 2 experienced players, including a goalkeeper. Matches on Thursday evenings.

They may be a few other slots across other teams, so please drop us a message if you are interested in a specific age group.

What a debut! 💙⚽

Our Kitty Hawks took to the pitch for their first game on Saturday and were brilliant from start to finish. Great passing, big saves, lots of goals and even bigger smiles showed exactly what AFC Fradley is all about. Well done to all the girls and coaches.

We're proud to see players progressing from our Wildcats programme into the team. Wildcats provide a fun start to football for girls aged 5-11. We are welcoming new players every week, so why don't you come and give it a try?

AFC Fradley 4 - 1 Walsall Wood.

Staffordshire FA Challenge Cup 1st round.
With the 1st team reaching last year's semi final the men were up for todays challenge welcoming Midland Football League competitors Walsall Wood to Shenstone Country Club.
After a bright start it was Walsall Wood who struck first against the run of play, getting free down their left side and crossing to the back post for a tap in.
The Bombers heads didn't drop and they carried on playing high intensity pressing football, always on the front foot with desire and determination.
Imun Khan smashed in his, and Fradleys first goal, capitalising on Jon Westwoods tidy work in the box. Captain Ellis Atkinson put the greys in front on 42 minutes with a fiercely hit freekick from 30 yards. HT 2-1.
Two second half goals from winger Jamie Towler secured an emphatic win against a team who play a few steps up in the pyramid from Fradley.
Nyle Payne got the assist for the 1st of Jamie's goals with Woody Thain getting the second.
Man of the match, sponsored by www.thefireplaceandstove.co.uk went to Ellis Atkinson for an assured captains performance in defence.

Our ladies 7-aside team Fradley Hercules kicked off their season with a hard-fought 1–1 draw against Albert Village! 💙⚽

Molly got herself on the scoresheet and capped off a brilliant performance by being named Player of the Match for her constant attacking threat throughout. 👏🌟

A solid point to start the season. Plenty more to come from the Hercs! 💪💙

⚽️ A new season begins! ⚽️

Everyone at AFC Fradley would like to wish all of our players, coaches, volunteers and families the very best of luck for the season ahead.

A special mention goes to our fantastic Under 7s, who take their first steps from Soccer Camp into league football. Watching these young players develop, make friends and grow in confidence has been incredible, and now they're ready for their very first matches in AFC Fradley colours.

What a moment for the players and their families. We're incredibly proud of every one of them and can't wait to see them enjoy their football this season.

Good luck to all our teams. Let's make it a season to remember!

AFC Fradley Raptors are seeking an unattached goalkeeper and attacking player to join our friendly, competitive squad.

We train every Friday at Lichfield Leisure Centre on the 3G pitches, alongside our Division 1 U10s - creating a supportive, connected club environment for all players.

Hednesford Forest 0–4 AFC Fradley

The Bombers got their season off to a fantastic start with a convincing 4–0 victory over Hednesford Forest in the opening game of the season.

Debutant Woody Thain opened the scoring with a clinical left-foot finish. The move was brilliantly started by striker Eddie Greatrex, who produced a lovely flick over the defender’s head for Nyle Payne to run onto. Nyle then provided the assist for Woody to calmly slot home.

Half-time: Hednesford Forest 0–1 AFC Fradley

Nyle then got himself on the scoresheet early in the second half, expertly lobbing the onrushing opposition goalkeeper after getting on the end of a superb through ball from Charles Atkinson.

Jon Westwood, last season’s top scorer, was introduced at half-time and made an immediate impact, bagging himself a brace. His first came from the penalty spot after Jon had won the penalty himself. The first attempt was saved, but the goalkeeper was judged to have come off his line, giving Jon a second opportunity which he confidently converted.

Jon then added his second after wrestling the ball away from the goalkeeper, who struggled to deal with Jon Bould’s flick-on. A real striker’s instinct to be in the right place at the right time!

Debutants Liam Glover, Jamie Towler, Ryan Marshall and Axel Kitoko all made excellent impressions, while the rest of the squad contributed to a commanding and dominant team performance.

It was a hugely encouraging opening-day display that has set the standard for the rest of the season. 🔥⚽️

⭐ Man of the Match

Woody Thain, sponsored by The Fireplace and Stove Company was deservedly awarded Man of the Match.

Woody helped run the show in midfield, scored on his debut and worked tirelessly for the full 90 minutes. A fantastic individual performance to cap off an impressive team victory! 👏 🔥 ⚽️
