Looking out the window and I see so much joy and hope in the kids I work with. But there are some scary storm clouds gathering. We all have to pick the hills we want to die on. Which evils are you willing to confront?

Great session Saturday the mat was packed, the energy was brilliant, and apparently the Red Arrows decided to show up as a bonus.

A couple of years in and we’ve achieved our first BJJ blue belts (and Krav blue belts…. Double blue!). 🟦🟦
Shoutout to Farzin and Line for their hard work and the passion they show during training. Thanks for the mentorship and top-notch technical training.
Thrilled to be part of this community. 🥋✨

Listen to the man!

🇷🇺🗣️Islam Makhachev:

“I think it's a big mistake if you put your kids in MMA. It's not good for kids. In Dagestan we have many Olympic sports, Judo, Wrestling. I did Taekwondo as a kid, then Sambo. Later you can put all together and start MMA.”

Good work sir!

Frank Corti, a 73-year-old retired English boxer, became widely known after a dramatic home invasion that turned the tables on a would-be burglar. When an intruder broke into his Oxford home, Corti—who once boxed in the army—used his quick reflexes and years of training to defend himself and his property. The confrontation left the much younger burglar badly beaten and in shock, proving that experience and composure can overcome recklessness.

The story quickly spread across the media as a symbol of courage and self-defense. Many admired Corti not just for his physical ability, but for his restraint—he acted only to protect his home and wife. His calm response under pressure became a reminder that true strength isn’t about aggression, but about control and readiness when danger strikes.
