Musicality Jams by Kasia are back!🪘✨ We had fun today and learnt a lot!
We explored different aspects of musicality, learnt about styles of salsa music vs Dominican music, and then practised responding to the music as we were dancing. 💃
Next weekend workshop coming up next month! Stay tuned for the info!
Also, every Tuesday evening we give classes in which we work on salsa groove, technique and musicality.

Can you dance your basic marking the upbeats and the downbeats? 🎶
If you want to really connect to the music you should be able to do both - feel the upbeat as well as the downbeat groove and mark it with your stepping when the music asks for either of them.
