Instead of squeezing workouts around Family Time, I’m making this summer about workouts being part of Family Time 🙌💪
Also thank you for teaching this mama some new tricks! 🪄
re-centre
A platform for radically rehabilitating pelvic floor and abdominals postpartum, using Hypopressives, Pilates and Yoga.
Low Pressure Fitness/Hypopressives is a technique that radically rehabilitates pelvic floor and core, especially effective in postnatal rehabilitation.
“I just don’t have the time”
I get it, I really do, we are cramming so much into our days, multitasking all the way. And obviously having a dedicated time to practice will always be the ideal, but in my books something is better than nothing.
With this in mind how about flipping that to seeing what moments you can fit in, to do something that will properly move the dial on your pelvic floor symptoms.
💻stuck behind a computer take 5 min and do a chair practice
☕️ making a cuppa, do the 5 min kitchen flow
My mission has always been making Hypopressives accessible and that includes helping fit them into your life.

20 minutes. 3 times a week.
That’s all it has take me to feel stronger at 46, after 2 kids, than I did before I had them.
I know how that sounds. I would have laughed too.
But here’s the thing, Hypopressives works completely differently to anything else you’ve tried. It’s not about squeezing. It’s not about crunching. It’s about teaching your whole core system to work together, automatically, through breath, breath holds and posture.
And when that clicks?
✨ The leaking stops
✨ The heaviness lifts
✨ The belly that wouldn’t flatten, starts to
✨ You feel strong in your body again
If you’ve been working hard and still not seeing results…this is worth 20 minutes of your time.

If you are struggling with leaking, prolapse, diastasis or bloating, it’s unusual to find a workout that gives your relief…this one will.
Most workouts were not designed with your body in mind. Hypopressives is ✨
⏱️Take 10 minutes
💾Save this and give it a try

If you’ve been doing your Kegels religiously and still leaking, still feeling heavy, still struggling, then this is for you.
The problem isn’t your effort.
It’s that Kegels were never designed to fix the whole system.
Save this, share it with someone who needs it.

Just double checking you are not making any of these mistakes 😮💨
When I started .centre over 5 years ago, one thing I was really clear on is the importance of teaching this technique live and seeing members do the apnea and checking that they have got it, so that they can get the most out of the work… you just won’t get the benefits if your technique isn’t correct.
These are some of the common faults I see:
1. 🤷🏻♀️Shoulders moving up on inhale and apnea
2. 😳Over exhaling causing downward pressure and abdominal tension
3. ⬆️ Flaring ribs on inhale and apnea especially if a rib flare is present. Also collapsing the shoulder girdle on exhale in an attempt feel more rib movement.
What we want is breathing into the side and back of ribs on the exhale, softening ribs on exhale.
4. Sucking in the stomach to apnea is never going to work! 😣 The opening of the ribs has to be where you initiate the movement from. ↔️
If you are feeling stuck 😓 or have reached a plateau in your training 😕 .centre may be your best next step. I work together in a fundamentals session with all new members to get you moving forward again in the right direction.
