RUNNING ISN’T JUST ABOUT RUNNING 🏃♀️
If you’re chasing a PB, building your distance or simply want to keep doing what you love without the niggles getting in the way, strengthening and conditioning your body is just as important as getting the miles in.
That’s why we invited the Run Club to Pilates Circuit on Sunday for a reformer session with Katherine.
Giving runners the opportunity to experience how Pilates can support their running, whether they were completely new to reformer or already incorporating strength work into their training.
So, how can reformer Pilates help runners?
💪 Build strength & stability
Strengthen the muscles supporting your glutes, legs, core, hips, knees and ankles, helping you feel stronger and more supported with every stride.
🧘♀️ Improve mobility & movement
Pilates works through controlled ranges of movement, helping maintain healthy mobility, improve alignment and build greater awareness of how your body moves.
🏃♀️Keep you running
A stronger, more mobile and better-conditioned body is better equipped to handle the demands of regular running, helping support recovery and reduce the risk of those unwanted niggles.
Because running more isn’t always the answer. Sometimes, getting stronger is.
If you love running, you’ll want to do everything you can to keep yourself running.
Thank you to everyone from who joined us, we loved having you in the studio!
