If England win your buzzing, if you lose it can feel like the end of the world.
Funny thing is, a lot of people treat their own progress like this.
Feeling great when completing all their workouts for a week, but completely throw themselves off the waggon whenever they miss one.
It is not the end of the world if you miss a workout or have an off-plan meal, but if you let it become this, this thought alone can derail you from making progress long-term.
England may lose a game at this World Cup, but it’s the performance of the entire tournament that will be judged.
As long as you stop starting again every Monday when one little blip happens, you will finally see long-term success!

13kg of fat lost in 18 weeks? Yeah fair enough..
If anyone needs an example of what an actual ‘busy’ person can achieve, then have a look at Liam’s transformation
Long work shifts, commuting and travelling for work
Usually you would hear people say “I don’t have time to exercise” with his schedule
Well, he was serious about achieving his health and fitness goals and wanted to get in the best shape of his life in the lead up to a summer holiday
So we did just that
We built a routine that allowed him to go to the gym early mornings before a busy working day
We focussed on the correct fuelling around his sessions so that he could continue to push and perform to the best of his ability
And we also said okay to the more indulgent parts of life as long as we are accounting for it
That way, we were able to make plan adjustments so he could have the best of both worlds
At the heart of it though, Liam’s work ethic was what got him these results and I know how hard he had to dig at times to achieve these results
Very proud of this guy over the last few months and we are now enjoying balancing leanness with a bit more flexibility over the summer months💪🏼

You have heard of the 10,000 hour rule.
The idea that mastery takes 10,000 hours of practice.
Here is the thing nobody applies it to: their own body.
You have spent years eating on the go, skipping sleep, training when you feel like it, and wondering why nothing is changing.
Your body is not broken. You just have not put the hours in yet. Not real, consistent, structured hours.
The guys who look the way you want to look are not genetically gifted. They are just further into their 10,000 hours than you.
However, to start making progress you don’t need to be perfect, you just need to start string consistent weeks together.

The “I don’t have time” conundrum
If you want an instant reality check of how to find time, do this-
Open up screen time on your phone and there’s your first instructions.
So much time wasted on scrolling social media but ‘too busy to track’ or ‘don’t have time plan my week ahead’ or to meal prep.
The reality is, we are all busy.
Yes there are different levels, but as much as you may be busier than someone else, there are people busier than you who will still get what they need done.
So open your mind to be challenged on your beliefs of not having enough time.
You will be surprised how much you can achieve.
