Double whammy on this Genie S-65 XC today! 💪🏻😂

New load cell, new lower LCD module, latest software update and a full calibration completed.

The basket calibration was carried out using 50 kg weights, followed by a full-load calibration with 450 kg and 7 litres of water.

The only problem? I’d switched the machine off! 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

So it was unload, reload and unload again to redo the zero calibration. That definitely finished me off for the week! 😂💪🏻

Job completed, machine calibrated and ready to go. 🔧

12 LOLER Inspections in Nottingham 🔧

A few weeks ago, we sent James down to Nottingham to carry out LOLER inspections on 12 Laing Access Platforms QS200 4M units.

A full day of inspections, making sure each platform was checked and ready to go back to work safely.

We provide LOLER inspections for a wide range of access equipment.

James’ favourite run is back! 😂

On Friday, James headed off to Jedburgh for what he considers his favourite job — and he’d fight any man for the opportunity to make this trip. 😂

For a LOLER inspection on a PowerTower Ecolift — a particularly pristine one at that, which lives neatly tucked away in a cupboard when it’s not in use.

Genie ZX135/70 – Load Cell Replacement 🔧

James attended site to replace a faulty load cell on a Genie ZX135/70.

The existing cell was removed and replaced with a new one, followed by calibration and overload testing in accordance with the manufacturer’s service manual.

The machine was then fully function tested from both the base and platform, with everything working as it should. ✅

We’ve got a cheque to hand over! 🐻❤️

Our August spider hire campaign has officially come to an end, and we’re so pleased to say that we’ve donated £2,000 to Zoe’s Place! 🎉

Jess and Michael had the opportunity to visit Zoe’s Place for a tour and hand over the cheque in person.

Seeing the incredible work they do and the support they provide to babies, young children and their families made the whole campaign feel even more worthwhile. ❤️

A massive thank you to everyone who hired one of our spider boom lifts throughout August and helped us raise this £2,000.

From spider hire to helping a fantastic local charity — we’re pretty proud of this one. 🕷️🐻❤️

Another job ticked off for Curtis 🔧

This time he’s been changing the harness on a JLG 800AJ, followed by testing everything to make sure it’s all working as it should.

Harness changed, machine tested and another one ready to get back to work! 👌

What a day! 🏇🍻

On Friday, we headed to Thirsk Races for the JPS/Caddick Charity Race Day, raising money for St Cuthbert’s Hospice.

The weather had other plans and unfortunately all but two of the races were cancelled! 🌧️😂

But it definitely didn’t stop us having an amazing day. Great company, plenty of laughs and all for a brilliant cause. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who organised the day and helped raise money for St Cuthbert’s Hospice.
