Kestrels U11s were at the Wanderers Tournament yesterday competing in the Plate competition.

The defence and goalkeeper were outstanding, going unbeaten in the league phase without conceding a single goal and helping us finish 3rd in the group.

We faced 2nd-placed Great Linford in the semi-final, another side that hadn't conceded in the league stages.

The boys came out strong and produced a fantastic 2-0 win to put us into our first final since I took over the team.

Unfortunately, the final didn't go our way, and we were beaten 2-0. Despite that, the boys did themselves, the team, and the club proud throughout the day.

A special mention goes to Grandi, who takes home our Player of the Tournament. He was simply unbelievable from start to finish.

So proud of every single player today. The effort, attitude, and teamwork were exceptional. Well done, boys!

Tournament Report Walton MK Glory U8s

We attended and braved the rain at the Tattenhoe Summer tournament this afternoon, which was played in a positive and friendly atmosphere as part of the non-competitive tournament. All teams demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork throughout the game.

Players from all sides participated actively and were given equal opportunities to contribute. The match featured several well-worked team plays, good individual performances, and a strong commitment to fair play.

The focus of the tournament was player development, enjoyment, and participation rather than competition. Coaches and players maintained a positive attitude, encouraging learning and teamwork at all times.

**Under-9 Warriors Tournament Update**

The Under-9 Warriors attended the Stocksley Tournament in Luton today and did exceptionally well throughout the day.

It was fantastic to see how the team adapted to the rule changes, particularly the introduction of heading and the removal of retreating from goal kicks. The players adjusted brilliantly and showed great understanding of the game.

A highlight of the day was Sammy's superb diving header from an excellent cross by Noah Rees-Atkinson. Ruby also came close to scoring with a header of her own.

The togetherness, work rate, attitude and commitment from every player were outstanding. We were unfortunate to bow out in the semi-final of the Cup competition against a very strong Bromham side, with the deciding goal coming from a deflected shot that went in off the post.

We are incredibly proud of the whole team and the way they represented the club today. On to next week!

A fantastic day at the MK Wanderers Tournament for Walton MK - Power! ⚽

The team played lots of games throughout the day and showed great effort, determination, and teamwork from start to finish.

There was some fantastic football on display from every single player, with everyone giving their all and representing Walton MK - Power brilliantly.

We're incredibly proud of the whole squad today. The attitude, commitment, and support for one another were outstanding, and it was great to see the players enjoying themselves while competing so well.

Well done to every player – you should all be proud of your performances.

Tuesday night is walking footy night!

The weather gods were on our side tonight as we headed back to our usual 4 team, 6 aside format this week after an experimental 10 vs 10 last week.

In the first round of games Blues edged it 2-1 vs the reds whilst on the middle pitch yellows fought hard, took their chances and secured a 3-1 win.

After half time we swapped over with reds facing bibs in the bronze medal match which reds won 3-1.

In the gold medal match yellows were just too quick and fluid for the blues who just couldn’t convert their chances. Yellows running out with a convincing win.

Well done to tonights winners - Yellows - Greg, Ayo, Mike, Jonny, John & Gareth 👏

Special shout out to Bradley for completing his first session this evening and slotting a few goals.👏

A top night of footy all round, with zero lost balls 😉 and as always plenty of laughter throughout.

Tuesday night is walking footy night.

With the rain clearing and the promise of “the new kits” I was amazed to see so many of the boys arriving early for the big kit reveal. 😮

With the 3 new strips handed out we got straight to the action. 👊

In the first round of games Blues came out on top against Reds with a 4-2 win. On the other pitch bibs came out on top against the yellows with a 3-2 win.

In the second round of games, Yellows took on the Reds in the bronze medal match which finished 5-3 to yellows.

In the gold medal match, it was a frantic start as the blues took the game to bibs, but bibs went through the gears and scored a few early goals and eventually came ran out 3-1 winners. 👏

Well done tonights winners - Bibs! - Ian, Glen, Bri, Mike, Sean and Singles.

U7 Eagles took part in the Cobblers Cup this morning, a fantastic morning of football in the sun.

The boys competed hard, scored some great goals and loved every minute of playing in the stadium.
