AFC Carpathians organizează, 23 Mai, un meci caritabil pentru Vladimir –băiatul portarului nostru de la echipa, un băiețel care luptă zi de zi pentru șansa de a merge.

Prin acest eveniment, ne unim forțele pentru a strânge fondurile necesare intervenției și terapiilor care îi pot oferi o nouă șansă la pași siguri și la o viață mai aproape de normalitate.

Ajutați-l pe Vladimir să facă pași spre viață
Vladimir s-a născut prematur, la 30-31 de săptămâni, și de atunci luptă în fiecare zi pentru lucruri pe care alți copii le fac în mod natural.
La vârsta de 1 an și 2 luni, a fost diagnosticat cu dipareză spastică, o afecțiune care îi afectează mersul și controlul muscular.
Pentru el, fiecare zi înseamnă terapie, efort, epuizare și o determinare incredibilă.
Pe măsură ce crește, începe să înțeleagă că este diferit. Sunt zile în care frustrarea îl doare, zile în care plânge pentru că piciorușele lui nu-l ascultă.
Dar el nu renunță. Și nici noi.
Pentru a continua să facă progrese, Vladimir are nevoie de: • terapie intensivă și continuă
• hidroterapie
• echipamente specializate
• evaluări în centrele de reabilitare
Toate acestea implică costuri lunare foarte mari.
În plus, medicii au recomandat o intervenție chirurgicală corectivă la picior în străinătate, care costă aproximativ 15.000 de euro — o sumă imposibil de acoperit pentru noi fără ajutor.

De aceea vă cerem sprijinul.

Help Vladimir Take Steps Toward Life.

AFC Carpathians is organizing a charity match for Vladimir — the son of our team’s goalkeeper, a little boy who fights every single day for the chance to walk.

Vladimir was born prematurely, at 30–31 weeks, and since then he has been fighting every single day for things that other children do naturally.

At 1 year and 2 months old, he was diagnosed with spastic diparesis, a condition that affects his walking and muscle control.
For him, every day means therapy, effort, exhaustion, and incredible determination.

As he grows, he is beginning to understand that he is different. There are days when the frustration hurts, days when he cries because his little legs don’t listen to him.
But he doesn’t give up. And neither do we.
To continue making progress, Vladimir needs: • intensive and ongoing therapy
• hydrotherapy
• specialized equipment
• evaluations in rehabilitation centers
All of these involve very high monthly costs.
In addition, doctors have recommended corrective foot surgery abroad, which costs approximately €15,000 — an amount impossible for us to cover without help.

The 2024/2025 season comes to an end for the Wolves — a season full of challenges, sacrifices, emotions, and important moments for our club.

It was a journey with ups and downs, a season in which we fought together until the very end. Although we know it could have finished even better, we are proud of the character, commitment, and passion shown throughout the year.

We finish the season in 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝟑𝟐 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬, while also reaching the 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢-𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐩 — achievements that reflect the progress and ambition of this team.

Behind every match were players balancing football with work, family, and personal sacrifices, always giving everything for the badge and for each other.

🐺 Club Statement

Unfortunately, due to the scheduled kick-off time of our final match of the season, AFC Carpathians were unable to have enough players available for the fixture last night.

Many of our players work night shifts, while others finish work at 6-7 PM, making it impossible for them to arrive in time for the game. Despite every effort made by the club and players to be present, we were left without sufficient numbers for the match to go ahead as planned.

As a result, the fixture has been recorded as a loss for the Wolves.

While this is a disappointing way to end the season, we remain proud of the commitment, sacrifices, and passion shown by every player throughout the year — balancing football alongside work and personal responsibilities.

We thank everyone who supported the Wolves this season and we move forward together, stronger and more motivated for what comes next.

The Wolves suffered a 𝟏–𝟑 defeat at home against 𝐌𝐊 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝, in a match where the performance did not reflect the final scoreline.

The first half saw our team create multiple clear chances, controlling large periods of the game. However, a defensive misunderstanding allowed the visitors to capitalise and take the lead, making it 𝟎–𝟏.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with the Wolves pushing forward in search of a goal. Unfortunately, an unfortunate moment from a throw-in saw the ball deflect off one of our players and into our own net, extending the score to 𝟎–𝟐.

Despite continued attacking intent and several missed opportunities, the Wolves were unable to convert. Following a counterattack, a shoulder-to-shoulder challenge inside the box was judged as a foul, resulting in a penalty for the visitors, who converted to make it 𝟎–𝟑.

Five minutes later, Yusuf Malik pulled one back for the Wolves, giving hope at 𝟏–𝟑 and sparking a push for a comeback.
With 15 minutes remaining, the situation became even more difficult as the team was reduced to nine players, following two dismissals — one for a second yellow card and another for a straight red after an unsporting reaction.
Despite the adversity, the team continued to fight until the final whistle.
