*** Bucks Schools Athletics ***

On Saturday, 13th June, Year 7 student Isabella represented Stantonbury at the annual Bucks Schools Athletics competition on our home track.

Showing incredible grit and determination, Isabella tackled a grueling schedule by competing in both the 100m and 800m. Despite the minimal recovery time between events, she secured two highly respectable 3rd place finishes and smashed her personal bests in both events.

Her true resilience shone through during the 800m, where she unleashed a powerful final 200m sprint to outkick the race leader and win her heat.

Fantastic effort, Isabella! Huge congratulations, and best of luck for the rest of the season.

*** Athletics Success ***

Well done Isabella! Last weekend Isabella competed in the Buckinghamshire County championships running for the under 14 girls at only 11, making her the youngest in her age group. Isabella claimed a double PB running the 1500m on Saturday in a time of 5 mins 48seconds and on Sunday the 800m in 2 mins 47 seconds!
