Tuesday morning had a fabulous 15 runners join me for a very chatty run . We started the run by going through Willen park and headed towards the cathedral of trees stopping for a picture . We then carried on and ran along the canal path for a short while and cut through to woolstone where we had another stop at the church for picture . After that we started to make our way back through the ouzel valley and towards willen lake and on to the finish . Everyone managed just over 5 miles .
Thank you Caroline for the pictures and everyone for a great run . Hope to see you all again next week .

Stony Open Evening: flyer distribution
We now have a supply of flyers for our Open Evening on Thursday 27 August, from 6 to 7pm.
Can anyone help us distribute them in places where they will have the best impact?
The Open Evening is open to everyone. Redway Runners members are encouraged to bring a friend, or to invite others to come along and meet us.
On the night, all our runs will start from the same point, giving the chance to sample what running with us feels like. Each run will be led by one of our excellent and friendly run leaders.
At the start point, we will have people available to talk to visitors and help point everyone to the most suitable run group or find out more about the club.
If you can help distribute flyers or know a good place to share them, please let us know — thank you for helping us spread the word about the Open Evening.
Thank you for your support — every flyer shared helps us reach more people and make the Open Evening a success.
Afterwards we will have a social drink in one of the local pubs along the High Street.
If you can help distribute, then I will be at the Wednesday and Friday morning runs, the Sunday Discovery run and the Thursday Afternoon ramble, or can pick up from Newport Pagnell or mail [email protected]

An incredible bunch of athletes joined me for intervals today.
After a last minute change of session (didn’t realise there is something on at the Events Plateau at Campbell Park), we all made our way to the bottom of Pagoda Hill to do the 1km loops challenge.
It was a recovery jog up the hill, 5km pace across the top and a sprint finish back to the bottom of the hill to repeat as many times as possible in 26 minutes. You all did so well.
We can’t not mention the amazing Seth Garner today as he’s having such an amazing week, firstly, he won Beat the Barge on Sunday, he turns 18 tomorrow (thank you for the cakes) and he receives his A Level results on Thursday - we all wish you so much luck Seth 💚
Well done again everyone today.

We had perfect weather again for the Monday morning ramble, when a record 17 of us wandered through Oakgrove and having a look at the “Nobody lives by the grid” public art installation in the Ouzel Valley Park. We stopped for our photo on one of them before heading back for coffee with the runners in Waitrose
